Chapter 1: Welcome to My Darkside

Lily POV

"Please, over here ma'am."

"Thank you." I gave a candy tip to him, the bodyguard who escorted me to the red carpet of Lotus gala.

This event is private and can only be attended by those who are invited. To get in here I was helped by my team. Of course after tapping into their security system.

My aim for coming here is to find the man who ruined my life four years ago. He killed my father and brother and made me his prisoner. But luckily I was able to escape and now here I am, back as the new Lily.

"Hi, pretty young lady. What's your name?" A man gave me a shot of martini.

I do not know him but I also didn't want to look suspicious so I accepted the drink nevertheless. "Lily."

"Lily? What a beautiful name."

I hate small talk so I drained my drink and gave the glass back to him. Right now I've spotted my target, a man wearing a dark blue suit that matches mine.

Looking at him is like opening a wound from my past. But this time I can't dodge anymore. I must go forth and fight for the justice that has been taken away from me.

I walked slowly while swinging my body like a model. Perhaps if he's still the same as before, he'll definitely like the way I walk.

Right next to him I stop. Picked up another glass and pretended to sip from it. My eyes watch his movements carefully as well. And I'm sure that he definitely can feel my glances. That's why he finally turned to me.

I honestly hated that smile. But I still extended my hand to shake. "Congratulations on Lotus Holdings' anniversary, Mr. Jaxon." I gave him my best smile.

Instead of shaking my hand, he looked at me like I was a ghost. I guess my new look and face succes to attracting him at the first meeting. That's good, I can start to execute soon and there's no need to waste time talking.

"Mr. Jaxon? Did you hear me?"

He stuttered, like his soul just returned to his body again. His confused expression made this more interesting. "I congratulated you for the company's anniversary," I said again.

"I've never seen you before. Who are you?"

"I'm Lily, a new benefactor at Lotus Capital. I got interested in your company's vision and mission and I believed that you would use the funds for humanity. So I decided to join. I needed to convince myself so it took me a long time to join and as a result you're just seeing me now."

"Lily? Your last name?"

I opened my purse and took out my business card, handing it to him.

"Lily Basil. An independent agency? You don't have company?"

"I'm too clueless to spend my money on anything else. My wealth has been passed down from my grandparents for centuries. And I only moved here after deciding to become a benefactor at Lotus Capital."

How does it feel to hear that name again, Jaxon? You must be nostalgic for the past and remember the girl you kept in your house after you beat down her family in the north, right? Be honest with yourself that you never expected to meet another Lily in your life.

He pulled me away from the crowd and led me into a dark room. I honestly didn't think it would be this quick for him to notice.

"If you want to be with me tonight, you need to rent a hotel, Mr. Jaxon. I don't want to do it here." I played with my voice, making it sound seductive. I put my finger to his chin and traced his Adam's apple. The next step I helped him take off his tie which made him hold my hand.

"Is this the true attitude of a benefactor who supposedly cares about humanity? Aren't you too naughty for that?"

I chuckled and put my mouth close to his ear. "Please differentiate me when I'm in public and when I'm not in the spotlight. We all have two sides, do we Mr. Jaxon? I'm curious about your other side."

I purposely breath on the back of his neck to tease him. It would be fun if he fell for my seduction. At the same time, it would be a real proof that he was only interested in me because of my face.

"Would you like to see my other side, Ms. Basil?"

I close my eyes when he blows on my ear. Not because I was aroused but because I wanted to trap him in my game. "Show it to me. I want to see it."

I didn't expect him to immediately lift one of my legs and rotate our position. He pressed me against the wall and he pressed his body forward until I couldn't move freely anymore.

"Then what's next?"

"Do you have any special preferences for how you want to be positioned?"

Let me remind you of our past. "I like it when you look at me."

"Really?" He took off his suit quickly and threw it behind him.

This is just a game, Jaxon. You won't be able to fuck me tonight because I won't let you. So it's not you who is allowed to take over but me. So I lowered one strap of my dress and let it hang on my arm. "We should go to the hotel. Your hotel is fine too. It's 5-star, right?"

"I'd rather do it here right now. If I change to another place I'm concerned I might not be interested in you anymore, Ms. Basil."

I pushed his chest with my forefinger and lowered my legs which he placed on his waist. "I am a picky and worthy woman, Mr. Jaxon. This time I chose a hotel instead of a dusty place like this. I'm sure your money can afford it."

"What's your price? Can I afford it?"
