Engeki

Kurai was meditating with his right palm facing out and his left palm folded. His eyes are closed and his mind is calm.

"Align the bridge to your flaming heart and reach to the home of the stars

as the stars also contain fire thus fire can exist beyond the sky.

Elements are the same in Heaven and Earth.

Fire creates darkness and light

Death and rebirth

Heart and mind must be as calm as a temperate flame but strong as a unbridled inferno

Take place in the elements as the elements needs you

Forget the pain*"

Then there was a tap on his head.

"Wrong. It is Kutsu not Kizu." His instructor said patiently. "You say Kutsu first then Kizu."

Kurai is frustrated as the mantra has already made him profusely sweat. He grabbed a towel to dry himself then notice the smell of people outside. Curious, he walk to a sliding door to take a peek and notice a mob of people watching him with excitement especially the girls.

"Do you wish to go over it again?" His instructor asks.

Kutsu 苦痛 means bitterness and agony. Kizu 傷 means scar or wound. In english, it is pretty much the same as pain. Engeki as a whole means dramatic theatre or play. But it can mean something else when separated and with different characters. En 炎 means flame not fire Geki 滌 means radical or incite
