Raina's POV

Before I knew it, a handcuff had been placed on my hand. What was the meaning of this? Why was I being arrested?

Is this the thanks I get for being sincere? Maybe I shouldn't have called them in the first place. Why are they treating me this way?

"This is unfair!" I screamed.

"Don't shoot yourself in the foot," one of the cop warned me.

This annoyed me to the extreme. Why were they treating me like a thief, as if I had committed a grievous offense?

Just then, the police took me into a room filled with CCTV cameras, containing a table and two chairs. They ordered me to sit down, which I did, and immediately left without saying a word. The silence was suffocating. What was happening, and why wasn't anyone telling me?
