Leona's POV

SEVEN YEARS LATER

My heels clicked noiselessly on the marble floors as I stepped into the exquisite lobby of Moore’s Arts and Gallery. I knew what was coming, and man, I was super excited for it.

Who would believe that I’d be a household name in the art world? And the icing on the cake for me was getting to smear it in the faces of those who never believed in me.

“Good morning, Ms Rivera,” a mid average guy standing at the reception greeted me with a firm smile, bowing slightly.

I returned the greeting with a nod and a bright smile.

Next to the lobby was a young woman whom I presumed to be the CPO waiting for me in a well-tailored cream coloured suit. I could see the admiration and respect in her eyes, and within me my stomach couldn’t help but do a flip.

“Ms Leona Rivera. You’re welcome to our gallery. It’s our pleasure to have you grace us with your presence,” she gushed.

Keeping it simple, I took her hand which she had stretched forward. “It’s a pleasure to meet you t

LeonaMy face was a literal bucket of tears as I gauged the reaction of the students watching the video. It was uploaded on the school’s website so there was no student that wouldn’t have seen it. I couldn’t take in the remaining details of the video as anger roared in my veins. “Give me a minute, Alicia. I need to see someone,” Her fingers gripped my wrist tightly, preventing me from moving away from her. “Leona, you’re trending all over the school’s website for the worst reasons and you think wandering around would help you sort out this issue?” “Yes, they will because I get to confront the idiot that thinks embarrassing me like this is the best thing to do,” I shoved her hand off my wrist and sauntered away, leaving her gobsmacked.I knew that she was worried about me, but there were issues that just had to be sorted out alone and this was one of them. In urgent strides, I located Conrad’s class. He was just coming out of a class, a bag slung over his shoulder when I bumped int

Leona's POV Soft rays of light bounced on my eyes, stirring me up gradually until I was wide awake. I took a cursory glance around the room and then on my nude body which was covered by the tussled sheets. A blush crept to my cheeks upon remembering the wild night we had.The other side of the bed was empty which meant that I was alone, but the memories from last night were enough to keep me company until I returned home to prepare for class.I’d never forget his tenderness while making love to me, how paranoid he was when he thrusted into me and discovered that I was still a virgin. He nearly pulled away, but I was far too gone and aroused to let him send me away like that. When he saw that I wouldn’t give in, he continued on the condition that he’d stop if he ever sensed that I was in pain. Oh the chivalry of that man. My thighs were sore, and I doubted I could walk properly, yet I couldn’t regret what happened. Wanting to get to class on time and share my excitement with Alicia,

Leona's POV "Oh my gosh, you look amazing, Leona!" Alicia chirped, flashing her immaculate dentition at me.My lips stretched into a shy smile, and I hurried over to the mirror that sat on the wall next to my book shelf. Knowing my best friend, I could look just average, and she'd call me a queen. My mouth fell open at the sight before me. I was beyond gorgeous, I looked... divine. My thick cherry hair was held in a loose bun, a few strands framing my face in elegant curls.Alicia had outdone herself this time. I looked natural even though there were obviously touches of makeup on my face. The only dramatic edge was my lips, rivaling the shade of my hair. The red dress had a low cowl neckline that didn't help to hide the swell of my breasts. The length stopped on my mid-thigh, clinging to my ass. This was the first frat party I was attending after Alicia had pleaded with me incessantly that I go with her. It was hard for me to give in at first, but her persistence finally wore me ou

Isabella's POV Suddenly, Alex went mute, his gaze fixed on the entrance. He swallowed hard as he tried to maintain a normal face, but to no avail. He was already too angry to fake a smiling face. From his facial expression, I could tell he felt like he'd been hit by a truck, his mind reeling. He wished he could complete what he wanted to say, but the opportunity wasn't there.Someone he fears or maybe someone he respects must have entered the room, which triggered that reaction. But who could that be? I hope it isn't who I'm thinking about. With curiosity holding me hostage, I swiftly turned around to see who it was. And boom! My eyes landed on her, Alex's Mum. My eyes lit up in excitement, and I couldn't hide. Thankfully, I was backing Alex so he could notice my excitement upon seeing his mum.“Whats…” Jessica attempted to speak, but her words hung in the air. The smiley face I saw earlier was no longer there. Her gaze was buried on my petite face.“What’s going on here, Alex?”

  • Dear Ex-wife, Please Come Back    The Confrontation

Alexander's POV I stood in the middle of the compound as I watched Lyvanne zoom off from the mansion with speed as though someone was after her life.“I don't trust you.” Those words from Lyvanne kept resounding in my head like the sound of a gun on a battlefield. Why is she too blind to see that I needed her back? Do I need to kill myself for her to know my intentions?Well, I wouldn't blame her. I should blame Isabella for everything. I can't believe she was this desperate to the point of stealing Lyvanne’s sketch. She would have to pay for the damages and the pain she has caused Lyvanne. In fact, this will mark the end of our suffocating relationship. With my fist tightened as though I was about to punch someone, I ran back into the house. As I grabbed my phone from the dining table, I scrolled through my contacts until I saw ‘Isabella’ and dialed it without wasting a second. No, she can't go scot-free.Isabella finally picked up when the call was about to end. Of course, she kno
