19. Friend Or Foe

I looked over at Eros who was walking beside me with a smile on his face. The weather was warm and sunny today, and there was a light breeze that gently blew through my hair. Eros decided to take me on a walk in the forest seeing that we both had nothing to do.

“What have you got behind your back?” I curiously asked him before coming to a halt, and he looked over at me before his smile dropped from his face.

“Nothing.” He replied shortly and I narrowed my eyes on him. “Let us walk in peace then.” He continued and I placed my hands behind my back before I continued to walk beside him. He must be holding some sort of gift behind his back, that would certainly explain the secrecy. I know this because he’s been showering me with gifts for the past three days now.

“May I know where we are heading now?” I asked him and he smiled once more before his grey orbs settled on my face.
