Can't be late

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Lisa opened her eyes and realized just how late she was. She definitely forgot that her phone was the only thing waking her up in the morning. 

"I hate that bustard. If it wasn't for her throwing my phone away I would've been at work by now. "

She runs to the shower, rummaging through her clothes doing everything as fast as she can.

" No I can't be fired. It's only my second day. " She started panicking tears swelling up her eyes. She was so scared that she felt like screaming and crying. She rushed out of the house.

At the sidewalk she calls a taxi telling the drive to drive fast as he possibly can.

" Look I'm late for work and it's way across the town. Can plz drive a little fast. " She requested.

" I'll try my best. " Said the drive.

Lisa squinted her eyes to read the clock on the radio.

" Five past ten! " Astounded she recoils from her sit. " Are sure your clock is fine?" She asked still staring at the clock carefully.

"Yes lady. My clock is just fine." He answered. " How did end up being this anyways."

Lisa doesn't answer. She was so stressed that she couldn't hear anything the driver says. She felt like she could magically appear in her office.

Silence followed , maybe the driver thought she was ignoring him.

"Why is happening to me ? " She thought. Everything thing seemed to be deceiving her , the street lights , traffic taking away the only time she had left.

"Finally." She could the tall building appearing in front of her. She takes one glance at the time and an hour had passed. She quickly pays the driver and runs out of the car.

Walking as fast as she possibly can she reaches the building. The moment she entered everyone is staring at. She could here them whispering. " Doesn't she know boss hate late comers. She's good as gone."

Lisa tries to avoid the whispers as she hurries towards the elevator. "It's even funny how enthusiastic she was for her first day at work and now she can't even make to the second day" that's probably what everyone thought.

After a long time of waiting the elevator finally stops. As quickly as possible she rushed inside.

Zagan , Hecate and And the lady from the front desk were already waiting inside her office. Her heart was palpitating. Her body heat became abnormal rising by the minute. She's sweating and her heart pounding she felt weak in her knees.

Looked like the lady didn't want to be a part of it as she left the office before Lisa could arrive. Lisa stared at her eyes , they were filled with pity. She felt sorry for her. As she walks past her Lisa gave one glance before focusing on the real problem.

As she entered her office Hecate spoke first as she was sitting in her chair.

"Well, well, well. Look who decided to show up." She started laughing. " I told you she was gonna give us trouble." She directed to Zagan who sat comfortably on top of the table.

"Look I can explain." Her voice was quivering as she addressed Zagan paying no mind to what Hecate was saying.

He slightly raises his eyebrow waiting for her best explanation yet.

Out of pure instinct Lisa points out Hecate. "It's all her fault." She said whilst glaring at her.

"What the fuck bitch." Hecate abruptly stands bewildered.

"Isn't you that threw my phone away. If I had my phone I would've been here earlier." Lisa folded her arms waiting for her to deny everything.

"That was a lesson. When I talk you listen." She screamed angrily.

"Well this is also a lesson. When you destroy my phone I have no alarm." Lisa shouted back.

"And how's that any of my problem." She spoke as she also folded her arms too.

Lisa temper kicked in as she starts yelling loudly.

" Look here bitch. You are not the boss of me. I'm not going to listen to you talk nonsense about me. Who the hell you think you are? " She turns to Zagan. "If you can't keep your girlfriend in tact you might as well fire me. I'm tired of all your nonsense. I'm an employee here I might as well be treated like one. I can't sit here all day dealing with her stupid ass. " Lisa stopped talking fuming in anger. She couldn't control her self anymore.

Zagan rose from his sit and looked at her.

" Shut up and get back to work. " He instructed. He didn't seem angry neither happy. He walks of the office leaving Hecate amazed. Her eyes open the whole time.

She wanted to say something but she couldn't when Zagan shouted her. She runs out of the room and follows like his little puppy. Lisa watches them as they go and they disappear she finally breaths heavily.

She couldn't believe what she just did. She just yelled at her boss. " I really need to control my anger." She covered her mouth in disbelief.

She makes a cup of coffee trying to calm her self down.

She finds a bunch of papers waiting for her and like that she goes back to work. Answering a few phone calls and rescheduling some appointments. 

Forcing herself not to think about the incident earlier.

Lisa had just came to buy lunch when she finds her boss already waiting for her in the office. She felt her heart rate increase as she approached her office slowly.

"Hey." She spoke nervously.

He hands her a box.

Surprised " what is this ?" Lisa asked examining it.

"What does it look like?" His voice sounded rather rude.

"A phone." She answered still inspecting the box in hand.

"From now on I don't want to hear any complains." He started to Walk away but stopped for a second. " And one last thing." He paused a little still looking away. " Mind your words when talking to me. I'm not your friend. That's only if still want to keep this job. Understood. "

Lisa doesn't respond.

" I said understood. " He sounded even harsher than before.

" Yes sir. " Lisa replies like a commanding officer being commanded by its captain.
