Riley’s POV

I was going through some pieces of paperwork and reviewing documents that are required to be done by the new managing director.

It was a lot to take in, but I needed to work hard to prove myself. My eyes were already aching at so much paperwork to review.

Knowing that I was in Asher’s position and he was underneath my command made

I felt superior, and although there was a hint of guilt, I could finally say that he got what he deserved. He may have treated me like I didn’t matter towards the end of our relationship, but now I did.

And he was to play by my rules, and I will make sure he regrets every single thing he did, including his family.

Since the other day he called, he hasn’t tried to reach out and beg for his job, but I had an email sent to him to resume work today.
