"Aww." I smiled at Sebastian, filled with joy that he had bought me my favorite flowers. "You're so sweet. Thanks so much!"
He leaned forward, dropped a kiss by the corner of my lips. "Anything for my darling."
Staring at each other, we both grinned widely. But, all of a sudden, his smile disappeared. His bright eyes suddenly darkened, and his face turned pale. It felt as if a pang hit his head, causing an unexplainably pain to move through him. I could see sadness in his eyes.
"Are you okay?" I dropped my flowers on the small wooden table in front of us.
He shook his head, blue eyes holding some tears. "I can only cry right now. I'm so pained. Just because I don't cry doesn't mean I'm so strong."
