Hostages

Scott and Elvina and looking at the dead body of a maid, which is now lying in a pool of her own blood. Doris is out visiting a distant relative, and she wouldn't be back for a couple of days.

Stephen is now sitting on a chair, in front of the dining table, looking down at both Scott and Elvina with scorn. He hates these two with a vengeance. Because if it's not because of these two, Bella wouldn't have been born and he wouldn't have to struggle so much to attain his ambition. 

Scott and Elvina are huddled into a corner, with fear and shock etched on to their faces. Last night, Stephen came and knocked on their door, claiming that their daughter Bella sent him for their protection. They are still yet to learn about these kinds of treacherous people, so they innocently believed his words and invited him in.
