He sighed loudly and started walking away. Little April knitted her brows, she could not understand why this doctor was just walking away as though he didn't see her. She had been searching for him for days and now that she finally found him, he was just going to walk away from her? He was the one who said he would save her, why then was he just walking away? Some days later. Little April had not seen the doctor after that day she suddenly fell unconscious. She did not know what happened to her, she was fully awake but then something like a black smoke suddenly surrounded her and before she knew it, she fell asleep and since that day, she had not seen the doctor. Did something happen that day? She kept asking herself but she did not even remember a thing. She hoped the doctor had not gone hiding, tomorrow was the day scheduled for her surgery and she heard he would be the one to perform the surgery. Truthfully, when her mother had informed her that he would be the one to perform her surgery, she was really happy and she didn't feel scared anymore because she knew she would be safe with him there. April could not believe what she had just remembered, the demon.... the demon was the mysterious doctor who had saved her. He was the doctor that found a heart donor for her and saved her. However, April could not understand why he did that, why did he save someone he was hellbent in killing? She could not help but wonder why she never remembered any of those memories, those memories of him saving her, those memories of searching for him, why did she forget them all? Why were those memories suddenly coming back to her? And those words he had said to her, he had warned her to run away from him, he had already told her that he would come back to kill her. The more she thought about it, the more confused she got. The demon.... she could never understand him. He told her to run away when he knew she could never run away from him. She believed there was a reason, a reason why he didn't kill her fifteen years ago and the reason why he still had not killed her yet. What was that reason?

As she walked towards where the demon was, she noticed a chopper beside him. Were they going to board the chopper? The moment she got to where he was standing, he handed over a cloak to her. "Wear this." He said. And without wasting a moment longer, he led her to the chopper and they both boarded into the aircraft. But, April found it weird as it was just the two of them in there, was he going to fly the chopper? He gestured for her to sit, April could only obey his instructions, knowing what he was about to do. He was going to personally pilot the chopper with her seated next to him. April watched him as he began to pilot the aircraft and within few minutes, they were already flying, up in the sky. As she watched him, she could not help but wonder how many things he was good at. He was a Doctor and probably once a pilot for him to know how to pilot the helicopter so well. She guessed it was probably because he had lived for a long time so he probably knew how to do many things

Hours passed and April finally opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep while trying to calm herself down not to worry about what was going to happen to her at Grey city. She looked at Damon when she noticed he had stopped piloting the chopper. Were they already at Grey city? "You're finally awake." He said when he noticed that she had woken up from her sleep. "You should have woken me up." April unfastened her seat belt and got down from the chopper. It was still midnight but there were street lamps everywhere that April wondered if they had really gotten to their destination. She had imagined Grey city to look somewhat dark, creepy and unpleasant for human habitation since it was where the vampires reside but where she was standing looked like a large parking area.
