chapter nineteen

Raymond made the sentinel wolves following him to wait outside while he got into the dungeon where the rogue wolves were. The road leading inside was dark and the atmosphere stunk but Ray just grabbed a piece of wood and tapped some fire from the fireplace at the entrance which was their only source of light.

He didn't plan to stay long here so he decided to endure the stinky air.

He began to hear movements from the wolves in the cell as some had noticed his arrival.

He took slow steps while passing through the cell as he surveyed the wolves.

"It's you again!" He heard one of the rogue prisoners say. "Look who it is guys, it's our saviour!"

The wolves started to talk within themselves, making it impossible for Raymond to hear a thing.

"Why have you come here?" One of them asked. "to feed us with more lies?"

"At least he comes to see us. We should be grateful. The only visitors we get are people who come once a day to place food in front of our cells, therefore making it difficult to
