Chapter twenty

Amber sat across Raymond in his large sized sofa as she peered at him curiously.

"So?" She prompted

"So?" Ray replied, unforthcoming with an answer

"It's been more than a week and you haven't come up with anything yet?" She raised her voice in disbelief

"Don't pin all this on me!" He said. "we're in this together, remember?"

Amber's cold glare remained on him. "Right" she mumbled

"Okay, let's use our brains to come up with something, some kind of sick plan that would work for us on Calvin's birthday"

She said and they both fell silent as their creative minds drifted off.

Minutes later, Amber came up with an idea.

"How about we drug her?" Amber suggested

"Would that be possible?" Ray asked "I mean, all eyes would be on her"

"It's possible" Amber said in a resolved tone. "we can come in with some sentinel wolves who work for you, then the wolves would keep an eye on her and alert us when she's all by herself"
