Chapter Fifty Four - Trouble

I sighed in relief when I managed to avoid the trouble I was almost in a while ago. Paul’s mood for the beach got back.

He even brought me to this ice cream parlor just to buy me some ice cream. The sun was high up but the winds were cold.

“I don’t think I would be able to last here at night.” I honestly stated while licking my popsicle stick.

“Oh come on, you have to stay out here at night. There would be a small bonfire, I would like to be there with you.” Paul invited me.

Shoot. I want to celebrate the beach trip with the twins too. Now that Paul is fine, I am not sure if I could sneak to be with them.

Belly is also extra cautious about me which was strange. I hope they can fix it up there even though my heart feels a little bit weary.

The rest of the hours went by. I feel tired of listening to all of Paul’s stories that I am not even interested in.

He keeps on gloating about the things that didn’t happen back then. I am so glad that I didn’t end up rejecting my m
