TIA'S POV

I didn't change out of my school uniform, and just like that, my parents and I were leaving the Dawn pack for the better.

I couldn't help but feel bad. It was my fault we had to leave.

I didn't know why the moon goddess put me into this situation. If I didn't deserve a mate why did she give me one then?

The drive was silent, my mother would turn her head to check up on me once in a while to see if I was okay.

I wasn't though.

The car drove for hours before it finally stopped at a diner, my dad was the only one who stepped out of the car.

He returned with food, water, and a few supplies.

I didn't feel like having anything so I only had water.

We resumed our journey, and after a long drive, the car came to a halt on a quiet road. Two men approached us and my dad got down to talk to them. I think they were warriors and we were at their borders.” Where are we?” I asked my mother and she turned her head.” Somewhere safe.” That was all that I got.” My mate and my daughter.” I heard my father say and a man approached the car.

I didn't need to roll down the glass because it was already down.” You are Tia?” He asked and I nodded.” I'm gamma Leo.” He said and my eyes went to my dad who was talking to the other warrior.

” How was your trip, I hope you didn't encounter any difficulty?” I shrugged because it was longer than I thought and difficult, my back was killing me.

” I think little Tia is tired, let's get you guys settled in the pack first. Alpha Orion isn't around but he will be in a few days.” The man said and I turned my eyes to look at my mom who was smiling politely at him.

Alpha Orion?

The strongest alpha in this realm?

The same alpha who was rumored to have slaughtered his father and brother?

” You are welcome to the central pack by the way.” He turned to my mother.” Thank you.” She said,

“ That is my car, you will follow behind me “ he said to my dad and he climbed back into the car.

None of us said anything as the car moved behind that of Gamma Leo's.

In less than ten minutes buildings came into view and after a while, we stopped in front of a white painted house.” This is the place the alpha prepared for you.” Gamma Leo said as I stepped out of the car after my mom.

“ Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything.” His eyes moved from my father to me.” Have some rest. Alpha Orion will be back soon.” He got back into his car and drove away.

“ I can't believe we are finally here.” My mom signed in relief.

The night breeze was cold around here.” Everything will be okay.” My dad said as he pulled my mom into a hug.

I rolled my eyes and went to grab my bag from the car.

My dad went to check the house before my mom and I went in. It was bigger than our old house at the Down pack.

It has four bedrooms and my mom asked me to pick one.

I hesitated before picking the one at the last end, which has a window that faces the deserted part of the pack, a forest view.

I settled my school bag on the bed and sat down.

The bed was bigger and a little softer. The room was spacious and I loved it.” I didn't expect this.” I heard my dad's voice from the living room.

They still had no idea about my sharp hearing.” About Tia, when do you think we can tell her?” My mom asked and the air turned dead silent.

“ It's too early to be discussing this. We just got here. Maybe a little rest will be of great help.” My dad said and I heard their footsteps approaching.

I let out a sigh. I wondered what it was that I had to know.

It has been two days since we arrived in the central pack.

Word of Alpha Orion's return reached my parents this morning so they have gone to meet him, leaving me alone in the house.

I wasn't sure what they were going to discuss but I knew I was bored in the house. I would have gone out exploring but my mom told me not to leave the house.

I didn't know how long she planned to lock me up but I knew I would explore one way or the other.

I picked up the TV remote control to change the boring channel when my phone rang beside me.

It was a F******k notification. Leona has made a new post, I frowned when I saw the black mark on her neck.

Cade has marked her!

That meant she was officially his mate. Officially she was now the future Luna of the Down pack of joy already.

I didn't know what I was expecting but it didn't hurt anymore. I just feel disappointed

A knock suddenly came on the main door pulling my attention from my phone. It couldn't be my parents because they had a key.

I waited for the knock to come again before going to get it.

“ You are Tia?” He asked as I pulled the door open and I nodded my head. His tall and huge body blocked the door.”Alpha Orion wants to see you.” I swallowed, hearing his name. My stomach chucked in an instant.

“ And my parents?” my voice came out as a whisper but I knew he heard me.

“ I'm beta Jason.” he ignored my question and I swallowed again.

Alpha Orion wanted to see me but why?

Wasn't he supposed to meet my parents so why did he suddenly want to see me?

“ Your seat belt?” He said and I fastened it with my shaky hand.

The car halted in front of a huge blue building.” Go in, he is waiting for you.” He said and I turned my head to look at him. I was sure he noticed the fear on my face because he chuckled.

Wasn't he going with me?

With no choice, I pushed the door open and stepped out.” Hey, little girl.” He called and I turned my head.” He doesn't bite.” He said but it didn't do anything to ease what I was feeling inside.

Everyone in our world knew who Alpha Orion was.

He was ruthlessly powerful.

“ Come in.” I raised my hand to knock on the door when the deep cold voice dropped on me from inside.

I pushed the door and hesitantly stepped in. A low growl slipped out of his throat as I stepped into his office, his cold blue eyes met mine and something inside me snapped.

My stomach twisted sharply as he stared at me calmly yet coldly.

I stepped back when he suddenly stood up from his seat.

“ You are Tia?” He halted in front of me, his hand blushed against mine and a sudden current struck harshly inside me like an electric shock.

My body suddenly went numb, my eyes widened and my chest started beating fast. I didn't know what came over me when I turned to the door to run out but he was quick to grab my wrist and slam my back to the door.

“ Mine!!” he growled as he buried his face in my neck.
