Summer's POV

"Do you know her?" I knew the guards were surprised that Viktor called my name, I knew he was going to recognize me, who wouldn't remember the smile on my face. I tried to hide my face but I guess he saw the marks on my hands, that would surely bring back memories.

"Yes I do, we have a past together" he divulged as his guards stared at him in awe, knowing that he had a plan of selling me off to the King of slaves.

"What are you saying?" He was getting confused, as he stared at Viktor, he cared less about their looks, he inquired,

"What're you doing here in the forest?"

"It's a long story" I stuttered, trying to wear a sorry face so he would get to recognize me and help me, I wouldn't mind being his personal maid. I just want a pack that would protect me and a roof over my head that's all.
