Accustomed to mind pain.Hong and I freeze in our tracks looking at the angry five lycans baring their teeth to us. Skirting around the facts. I turn off the water from the shower and hear raised voices in the next room, where Blake and I sleep. I don’t have the energy for this right now so I quickly get changed and with my hair still wet, climb out of the bathroom window. I wanted to use one of the computers in the break out room to look at apartments and research possible areas. I don’t plan to drive at any time during my life, so it would need to have good train and bus links so I could still get around. As I placed my feet down on the ground outside I hear a throat being cleared behind me. I turn around just as I close the window to see the Alpha looking at me. “My office now!” He orders at me. I quickly grab my bottle of water and busy myself to cool myself down. “Aida?” My name on his lips sends a buzz to my core and I don’t ever want him to stop. “Hhmm?” Is all I can manage. It’s okay though, because it sounds like I’m busy with my dinner. Not at all imagining his tongue vibrating down below. Revenge!I woke up the next day with a new lease on life. Most people would think the morning October sun or the robin sitting on the outside windowsill would give such a lust for the day. But no, not me! I had one thing keeping my blood flowing through my veins with such warmth. Revenge! Revenge on the man who leaked all my private information to get ahead. Today was going to be a fun day. I was up and dressed, ready for breakfast before they had even fired up the ovens. It was Monday morning and the first full week of training since arriving here. Wolf vs wolf “Aida!” Lance tries to snap me out of my sadistic mood but my wolf is dancing around in my head and she will get what I promised her. Revenge! Hong releases me but doesn’t move away from me. “You two, here!” The Alpha clicks his fingers at us. He was clearly irritated with our werewolf ways but he can’t change centuries of rituals in one afternoon. I’m not really sure what is happening around me. I don’t notice the other trainees sparring, all I see is Hong, all I want is Hong. He charges at me and I have to act fast. I let him catch me and throw me to the ground because as I roll him I manage to end up on top. I punch him in the jaw with quite a lot of force and his head whips from the impact. Movie night “Report to me at my office 7am sharp!” Alpha orders at me before leaving, following Lance out the door. Doctor Wessex takes a step forward and clears his throat, because the room has turned extremely quiet. “Aida, is it okay if I check you over?” He asks. “Erm sure!” I respond looking at Blake for help. Flashing Lights The way that Mav, Tucker, Axel and Blake were around Lance last night confirmed my suspicions that he was a Head Trainer, if not part of the close warrior team sworn in to directly protect the King and Royal family. The tidy up. I manage to move myself back under the table. I’d rather the world melted me away at this moment. I’m assuming the ransom girl was me, why did the rogue want me and who would they think would pay the ransom.
