Ashlyn's POV I could barely believe it as I laid curled up beside Lucifer on the bed. I could hear the beating of his heart and the efforts he made in trying to make it steady. Ashlyn's POV Beautiful days turned into deadly nights. Nights of horrors and nightmares. I could not control it rather I was under its influence. This hunger consuming my soul. A ravaging hybrid was what I had become. Seeking preys to devour. Not just to drink blood or drain energy, but to take lives and eat fleshes. Ashlyn's POV She did return and I was giving a one of a kind treatment. My nails were attended to and were perfectly manicured with a lacquer cobalt blue nail polish and so were my feet. I had even experienced how it was to be treated in a spa. The cucumbers placed on my eyes and the facial cream mask I had to wear. My hair was straightened behind my back and the tips were curled up and when it was evening, I was slipped into the sleeveless dress. The diamond necklace placed around my neck sparkled alongside the draping earrings in my ear holes. The wristlet too, fitted around my wrist and staring at the mirror, I was lost for words. I began to admire the sun, appreciating the beautiful blue skies. I appreciated nature too and there was this radiant smile on my face and it was coming right from inside of me. I was full of happiness and joy. Was this what it was to be truly in love? I had no doubts it was. The feelings was so pure and true. I would do anything to make this feeling last forever.
