CHAPTER SEVEN

Ericka kept on running until her legs finally got tired. She checked the time and found it was already past noon. She sighed and took in a deep breath before hurriedly using a short cut since taxi's by now would have all retired.

It was getting quite dark and so was the road. She saw a couple of drunk men misbehaving under the street light and decided to make herself invisible but it was to no avail.

One of the men immediately noticed her and from the look in his eyes, she knew he had bad intentions. Not thinking twice, Ericka started running even do her legs ached so bad.

But the men had already blocked her path in front.

She turned to run back but it was already blocked by a new set of drunk men and now she knew she was in trouble.

"What do you want?!. D-don't come closer, i-i have a knife in my bag!."

One of the slightly less drunk men laughed.

"In your bag?. But I don't see anything."

And that was when it dawned on her. She had forgotten her pause.

"Please..let me go..please."
