Aaron didn’t come back for the rest of the night. Not that I expected him to come. Aaron's words were still echoing in my ears. Did he pretend to like me only to get the right of the medicine? I never, in my wildest dreams, thought that Edrick could turn out to be Aaron's father. What kind of person would send his wife to his father's bed! The mere thought of it made my stomach churn. I couldn't believe I chose such a disgusting person as my life partner and trusted him so much.

What will happen to me now? I just want to run from this place as far as I could. But Aaron will officially take over my mother's company tomorrow. She entrusted it to me before her death. I can't let Aaron destroy it at any cost! I need to get a grip on my twirling emotions and come up with something to retrieve it. But what can I even do now?

Suddenly a solution popped up in my mind. I must have gone mad after getting so much shock in a day to think to approach Edrick. But only Edrick can help me in this situation. At least he has made it clear to me that he only wants my body and didn't fool me like Aaron! Edrick just challenged me yesterday that I would have to crawl back to him, and here I am, thinking about going to him when not even a day has passed! How can fate be so cruel to me?

This is not the time to think about my self-respect. If Aaron can sell me to his father, I can do the same! To save my mother's company, if I have to become Edrick's mistress again, I will do that.

"Ma'am, we have reached to Mr. Edrick's office." Gazing at the imposing skyscraper building in front of me, my heart started racing uncontrollably.

"Ma'am, should I wait here?" I looked back at the family driver listening to his question.

"No, you can go," I entered Edrick's company building after replying to the driver.

Oh god! How should I face Edrick? I came here on impulse but I am feeling the urge to escape from here right away. It’s already late in the morning. I don't know when I fell asleep while crying last night. When I got up, everyone had already gone to work.

What is the guarantee that Edrick will agree to help me? What if he insults me again and drives me away? I am in a desperate situation right now and running out of time, regardless of how much humiliated I have to be, I know I have no choice.

"Excuse me, miss. Is Mr Edrick present in his office?" I asked the receptionist.

"Yes, he is. Do you have an appointment with him?"

"No, but I need to meet with him."

"Sorry, ma'am, you can't meet with him without an appointment," the receptionist politely declined.

I clutched my dress nervously hearing the receptionist's response. "Can you call him and tell him that I have come to meet him?"

"I do not have the authority to do this. Next time come after making an appointment," the receptionist's voice became stern.

"Please tell him that his daughter-in-law has come to see him," finding no way, I just blabbered what came to my mind. She must think that I am weird.

The receptionist stared at me strangely and dialled the telephone, "Sir, a lady says she is your daughter-in-law and has come to meet you."

"Yes, sir. I will send her right away."

I couldn’t hear what Edrick said over the phone but I suppose that he has agreed to meet me.

"Please forgive me, ma'am. I didn’t know your identity. Mr.Edrick's office is on the fiftieth floor. I will lead you to his office if you want," the receptionist politely bowed and responded.

"No, thanks. I can go myself," I turned around and stepped into the lift while fidgeting my hands out of fear.

I knocked on the door of Edrick's room anxiously.

"Come in," I clasped my chest with my hands to contain the wild beating of my heart after hearing Edrick's voice and walked inside the room.

"What pleasure do I owe that my daughter-in-law, who resents me so much and prays for my death, has come to see me?" Edrick raised his eyebrow and looked at me mockingly as he emphasized the word daughter-in-law.

"I... I need your help to g..et back my mother's research center," I wanted nothing but the ground to open up and swallow me whole as I shamelessly muttered those words.

"Didn’t you give it to your husband on your own will? How can I help you to get it back?" Edrick asked nonchalantly as he tossed his back onto the chair with a carefree gesture.

"I am ready to do anything to get it back," I looked him directly into his eyes and said confidently ignoring the burning sensation growing in my cheeks.

"Anything you say? Hmmm, I can’t find something that you can do for me. Can you please point out a particular work that you can do for me?" Edrick started tapping his fingers on the table as if he was bored.

"Yo...u offered me to become y..our m..istress again. I am willing to do it," I struggled to bring the embarrassing words out of my throat.

"Unbelievable! My virtuous daughter-in-law wants to become my mistress! I must be dreaming!"

Watching Edrick pretending to be all surprised, my hands started to itch to lift the chair in front of me and crush it on his head.

"I am truly willing to do every imaginable thing you will tell me to do," I restlessly said.

"You are desperate, aren't you? But the shareholder's meeting will start just after one hour. I need to see how you will serve me if I have to do such a big deal with you. I need to check the product before I buy it, right?" Edrick chuckled.

"What do I have to do?" I asked uneasily.

"Suck my d**k," the playful expression on his face faded as he spoke with an intimidating tone.

"What!" A gasp escaped my mouth as I instinctively reached for the chair to steady myself.

"If you don’t act upon my command in one minute, think that the deal is off", Edrick said harshly.

Should I just flee through the door? Why is the clock ticking so fast? I hastened towards Edrick and sat between his legs as fear, shame and anger caused my whole body to shake frantically. I am feeling as if I have become a street prostitute!

I unbuckled his pants and started to slide down the zipper with my trembling hand. It's fine. I have done it before, let's just get over with this.

"If you keep acting like I am going to rape you, get the hell out of here," Edrick sneered with contempt.

I gulped down hard and pulled down Edrick's boxers releasing his enormous c**k in the air. Getting freed, his thick, swollen member sprung into the sky and slapped my face, signalling me to pleasure it through my mouth. I clutched the once familiar rod with both of my hands but couldn’t bring my lips further to take the length in.

Out of nowhere, Edrick grabbed a fistful of my hair and shoved my mouth inside his crotch making me scream out of shock. I started struggling to catch my breath as the gigantic rod began to rock inside my mouth without warning.

I inhaled deeply as Edrick took his d***k out for a moment, but he plunged it into my mouth the next second, making me choke severely. Grabbing my chin, he yanked my head up and I could see the impatience and lust in his eyes.

"F**k, are you here to torment me? Suck my d**k fast and keep your eyes up while you do the immoral act so that you can properly see who you belong to," Edrick gnashed his teeth and said hoarsely.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door,

"Father, can I come in?"

My mind became completely blank hearing Aaron's unexpected voice.
