Letting Go

After Trevor climbed out the window. I held my breath until I could no longer see him walking away from the house. I took a deep breath as tears started to burn in the back of my eyes again. I quickly dressed into sweats and ran into my sisters room, scaring her half to death! She jumped up meeting my eyes and her eyes widened as she sees the tears now flowing down my cheeks. She pulled me into her bed holding me in her embrace until I finally lifted my head and said "Trevor". I couldn't get the words out as sobs began again Katarina has a way with words "fuck him!" She hissed! And that's all I needed from her. That's all it took for me to solidify my decision. I was breaking up with him once and for all.

I spent the rest of the weekend helping my sister pack up her room. Looking at old pictures reminiscing about our childhood. We were both going to miss each other when she moved out next weekend.

I successfully avoided all of Trevor's calls and text this weekend but, I was probably going to run into him at school on Monday. Even though we were going to school for different things, he wanted to rule the corporate world and I wanted to be a physical therapist, he made sure our class schedules lined up so we could spend our free time together. Hmm well that's not going to be happening anymore. The semester just started so I might still be able to change my schedule. One could only hope!

School started Monday went without any drama. I got there late avoiding running into him and as soon as my class ended I went to the counselor's office to see about changing my schedule. After about an hour wait I finally talk to the counselor and found out I was only able to change 2 of my 3 classes. Better than none I guess.

As soon as I walk out the counselor's office there was Trevor sitting on the brick wall at the planter's edge by the window. Was he watching me? He smiled at me with smile not quite reaching his eyes. "Hello beautiful!" he said. I snorted and kept walking. He followed me all the way back to my car. Damnit!
