I wake up to loud noises everywhere, forgetting my surroundings. I must have fallen into such a deep sleep I let my mental wall down completely. The plane lands smoothly and my stomach start to turn. The nerves and reality of what is happening is starting to sink in. I don’t have my mother with me anymore to protect me, I will have to find my own way using the lessons she taught me. Elder Michael and I go through security again and wait for our bags. Well, here we go. The next stage of my life is about to begin. My bags are packed, I’m dressed and ready to head to the airport. I take my luggage to the front door and walk down the hallway to the kitchen.
