CHAPTER 15

I leave Katya’s house without telling her how she was almost harassed at the party.

She is a sensitive girl and I wouldn’t want to do anything that might set her off or traumatized her, and again she doesn’t seem to remember.

And people will always say, what you don’t know won’t hurt you.

On getting home, I greet my dad at the kitchen after which I immediately rush to my room to read the comic book I worked for.

And seriously it is worth every pain I had to go through yesterday for it.

My dad didn’t ask where I was coming from when he saw me, which confirms it that he knows about the party.

Or maybe he is part of the set up who knows, even if he is, I am still happy I am able to get the comic book I have been searching for.

Starting the book, I lost track of time.

“Ash, won’t you have dinner” my dad asks me, knocking on my door.

“Dinner?” I ask, confused.
