Alison’s POV

“Yes, because that was the first time I was meeting her, it was my second time meeting you.” He replied.

I shifted my head away from his chest and lay by his side. He looked down at me, and I looked up at him. I felt so small lying beside him, so I glided upwards so I could be on par with him. Now we were lying face to face, and I still felt small. I traced his face with my hand,

“You guys were on a date, so it means you had a connection before. I insisted, but he shook his head.

“It wasn’t exactly a date; she was with my friend, and my friend tried to play matchmaker that day. I’m not interested in a relationship.”

I frowned and punched his chest, “So why are you chasing me? Was our one-night stand not enough for you?” I yelled.

He sighed, but did not respond, and that was a bit disheartening because I somehow thought he wanted a relationship with me. Was it just a fling he was looking for?
