Chapter 47 – Gabriel's trust and protection.

“Dylan,”

Maeve answered and put her phone on speaker. She no longer had anything to hide. Dylan’s desperate voice rang from the end of the line,

“Maeve, where are you? You aren’t home yet.”

Maeve pursed her lips and looked at Gabriel. His hands were relaxed on the steering wheel and he glanced at her with a nod, encouraging her that it was okay.
