Chapter 260 A Bad Guy to Handle a Bad Guy

ผู้เขียน: Five Generals
Last night at the casino, Kaze slapped Larry.

Larry could not let go of the grudge.

When he was reunited with Lance and Naomi, he could not stop complaining about Kaze’s arrogance and rudeness.

Larry proposed that Kaze be his caregiver to insult him.

Gritting his teeth, Larry said smugly, “Weren’t you acting like you were all that in front of my parents, Kaze? You can take care of my needs for the next two weeks. You have to do what I tell you.”

“Dream on,” Kaze said coldly. He was tempted to whip the boy to shape.

“Why don’t you stay here and take care of Larry, Kaze?”

Agnes asked, her tone not as commanding as before.

She felt bad.

However, she had no other choice.

It was either Kaze or her.

“Hear that, Kaze? Are you going to go against your mother-in-law’s wishes?”

Larry smirked.

He knew that Kaze was too proud to agree to the job.

Nevertheless, Larry knew Kaze had a weak spot for his family.

Luckily for the Laimes, they had Agnes in the palm of their han

The thing was, Edmund would rather Silas not die at his hands. “Why are you stopping? He hasn’t revealed who’s behind this. Whip him until he opens up.” Edmund steeled himself, determined to uncover the mastermind. It was imperative for Edmund and his people to acquire the information. Otherwise, they would remain at a disadvantage, and their situation could turn dangerous. When the whip struck again, Silas cried out loud. The room was eerily quiet, but the crack of the whip was deafening. Without a word, everybody watched indifferently as Silas gritted his teeth and held on. Silas had guts, that was for sure. Even at this point, he refused to give up anything. “You’re tough, standing firm after all that.“I’m curious, though. What’s the point of your perseverance?” Edmund tried to break Silas. If Silas could see the bigger picture, he would not cling to his defiance. It would be pointless for him to do so. Even if his superiors learned of his ordeal, they wou

“I’m not talking. Don’t bother asking me any questions. I dare you to kill me.” Silas remained stubborn, refusing to let up any information. At this point, all he sought was a swift end to his suffering. He knew his tormentors would not spare him, and the chances of Silas walking out alive were none. “You should know what happens if you defy us. You’re our prisoner now, and we will make you wish you were dead,” Edmund uttered curtly. Silas would not get a second chance. Silas was bound to die at Edmund’s hands. “So what? Even if I talk, you won’t cut me any slack anyway.” Determination reflected in Silas’ eyes. He knew that there was more to the situation and what lay ahead of him. Silas could only resign himself to his fate, despite his frustration.“Winner takes all, right? Since I’m your captive, I’ll embrace the consequences without any resistance.” Silas spoke with indignation. In truth, he was powerless to fight back. Tied to a chair, Silas could not move.

The remark did not sit right with Jerry and the others, but there was no denying the truth. They were no match for Kaze. The enemy proved they were more than ordinary, since they were able to hold up against Kaze for a while. As Kaze said, Edmund’s team would not have put up much of a fight against the enemy. They might even perish. They lacked courage. “We’ll step up our training to your expectations, Mr. Lee,” Jerry uttered. The others nodded. Their survival had been far but easy. What was supposed to be a fight to the death ended without much of a struggle. Kaze’s presence turned the tide. He was incredible. Sure, Silas was tied up, but he could hear everything. These people did not seem to care whether the conversation was within his earshot, likely because Silas was a dead man. He started to panic. Since defiance was not an option, he chose to comply. “Lock him in the basement. Interrogation will follow,” Edmund said before turning to Kaze. Kaze could use a

“Well, aren’t you dumb for acting rashly without knowing anything?” Kaze rushed over the moment he received the text message. He had insight into the situation. Despite exposing his identity, no one believed him. His cover held up pretty well. Since Edmund was in trouble, Kaze had to intervene and sort out the issue quickly. “No matter who you are, you’re going down for messing with me,” Shia said without a care. He drew his weapon and darted toward Kaze. There was enough distance for them to fire their guns. However, it would not be wise because their companions were close by. It would be bad if they were hurt. Besides, they decided to attack since the guy needed to be taken down a notch. “Well, this is something. You’ve got guts.” Kaze confronted him without a weapon when the man charged toward him. As they engaged in combat, they got a good sense of each other’s strength and speed. Even so, they did not flinch. Instead, a look of respect crossed their faces.

Ryan was disappointed, and devastation washed over his face. He wondered if he was right to stick to his resolve. If he had not gone to the villa, he would not have put himself in danger. However, Edmund had not anticipated war to break out either. “Mr. Lee has abandoned us. What’s the point of holding out, Mr. Witterson?“If we die here today, that’s one problem less for Mr. Lee anyway.” Ryan was not trying to instigate anything. Reflecting on the past, Ryan believed Kaze would take over the Viper’s Den once they were out of the picture. “Kaze is not that kind of guy. He wouldn’t have put me in charge of the branch otherwise, or made me his right-hand man.” Edmund’s voice gained conviction. However, his heart also sank deeper into the pit of his stomach. He had no idea what lay ahead of him. One thing was for sure—danger was near. “Why are you still betting on Mr. Lee, Mr. Witterson? He might not show up or rescue us to safety. You saw what happened. We can’t st

Sure enough, a few individuals were perched on the walls surrounding the villa. With weapons in hand, they kept their eyes on the target. The first gunshot was a warning, not meant to cause any harm. These people sure were gracious, hesitating in the face of animosity. “Leave right now. This is private property,” the man atop the wall said out loud. Now was the time for the enemy to back down rather than foolishly press on. “We are members of the Viper’s Den and brothers-in-arms. There’s no need for violence,” Shia responded from behind a tree.Despite the circumstances, Shia remained unfazed and would show no mercy. He gestured to his companions to spring into action. They drew out their weapons and aimed at the security personnel, ready to fire. “In that case, why are you sneaking into the place in the middle of the night? Your behavior goes beyond what brotherhood entails.“All is well if you walk away now. We won’t be so kind if you want to play hardball,” the
