Offspring
When I was still 9, I used to ask my mother to buy me candy whenever she went out. I didn’t really pay attention to her where she was going but I knew that she would be back with the candy. She would always yell at me for touching my clothes because that is what I would often do whenever I had finished eating. I irritated my mother a lot and I guess that is a part of being a child. And no matter how often we annoy our parent's, they continuously show us love.

In my junior year of highschool, I developed a liking for tatooes, they attracted me somehow. Some of the girls in my class had ones made on their bodies. Butterflies, dragons, snakes and even faces of popular people. I loved tatooes, but my mother didn’t. A mirror gives of a reflection of who we are, it can also be used to help remind us of who we trully are. Like the song “Man in the mirror” by Michael Jackson we do need to take a look at ourselves first, change how we treat others first before expecting others to treat us well. That’s my understanding of the song. But there are many other ways to interpret its meaning. “Wow! Mom this looks delicious. Can I have a taste” I asked. The table was neatly covered with white linen, purple grapes overfilled the salad bowl,the cockery and cutlery carefully arranged in just the correct sequence.
