“How awfully dramatic,” said Blake.

“Shut up. Don’t ruin the moment. Where is that clingy lover of yours? I thought she gets anxiety attacks when she leaves the love of her life alone for a second.”

He reached out for the glass of champagne.

She scrunched up her nose and voiced out, “Don’t get yourself too drunk. Wouldn’t want to make this day too memorable.”

The moment between the two of them were interrupted when Jennifer stepped in and grabbed on to Liam’s arm. Sylvia took this as her chance to leave.

“Have a great time together.”

She waved her hand and walked away.

Following this, the time for speech had arrived, and heartfelt words were delivered. Couple of students stepped up to give their well regards. Sylvia clapped when needed.

After that came the party. Those who were capable of dancing participated in it, and music played. Sylvia stayed in corner, chatting with Nathan. Both of them had no clue on how to do the elegant steps.
