Chapter Eleven

Leah waited in Ethan’s office for him, she was supposed to collect a check from him to run a few errands for their goddamn wedding, something she already hates doing.

She chewed and smacked her gum, bored and tired, and also angry because Ethan was taking too long. He had promised her that he need to tidy up a few things with Logan’s crew for his next movie, and that it was only going to be for a split second, but of course, she should know that the only person Ethan gave his honest words to is Logan.

His office was devoid of any adornment, except for a few pictures where he revealed too many of his badly shaped set of teeth. Aside the fact that he and Logan go way back, she really did not understand why Logan kept him. Although if one was being honest, he was great at his job.

Well, that is if he is working for Logan.

Every other person has to suffer from his laziness. Leah was not a fan of Ethan at all, and she only bore his excesses because he works for her brother, and she always
