Chapter Fifty Six

There was something different about sleeping in the big bed all by myself…something odd.

I have always slept on the bed alone. In fact, since I was moved into Logan’s room, I have been sleeping alone, and I thought that I missed my room. Well, not really my room since I don’t consider the place my own, but returning to my room that morning after the altercation between Logan and I, I did not expect to feel such depth of loneliness…

And dread.

I might wake up to a divorce paper from Logan in the morning, judging by how he just quietly left me alone and left the house after what I said that morning, and up till now, I still do not know the exact reason why he married me when he can have any kind of woman he wants.

Maybe it is to taunt Samuel in his grave: Yeah, I married your sister right after I killed you. No, that would be too petty for someone like Logan.
