Inez won't answer any of my calls so I came by to deliver these myself," he said before placing the bags on the floor. I remain on my bed with my legs crossed as my laptop is in front of me. "Ay, right. Palabas na," I said as I wiped my eyes using the back of my hand, standing up from my bed before I turned off my phone and threw it there. "Ang sabi 'di nakita?" Inez whispered, teasing, as I got closer, I gave her a glare causing her to laugh as she stepped out of the way, revealing Christion standing at the doorstep. Pain.  I try to cough off the ache in my throat as I catch my breath yet it still hurts. I sit myself up, coughed and coughed until I felt myself puking. It wasn't vomit, but water. Salty water. I exhale hard through my nostrils when I realise how painful it was there. The same salty water comes out in bits as I try to open my eyes. I saw feet. I lift my head up to see a familiar human figure, squatting, her eyebrows are lifted up and her lips are loose. She seems to be worried. I try to move and suddenly felt something cold.
