GREY

“Grey?”

I jolt up. The sun burns my eyes and I reach up to shield them. Looking around, I grow confused when I see im in a field. I can feel the warmth of the sun. I see the breeze making the field flowers dance.

“Are you ok?”

“Who’s there?” I rise to my feet. Walking slowly in a circle. I scan the treeline edge for signs of movement.

“I’m here.”

I turn in the direction of the treeline. Walking slowly past the first trunks.

I hear a tiny giggle echo through the trees.

“Who’s there?” I scowl. I’m in no mood to be played with.

“Hello.”

I spin around and there she is. My face softens. She’s standing in a cute oversized pink sweater. My breath was completely taken away. Her big blue eyes find mine and I’m lost. My hands ache to touch her baby like cheeks. Her soft lips beg mine to kiss them. Desire swirls around in my gut.

She’s got a small smile on her face.
