I could still remember that night like it was just yesterday. I was seven years old hiding in the mountain forest.

It was the darkest night in the history of the pack, streets of lightning brightened up the sky above and water gradually dripped down from the sky at a very fast pace wetting my skin.

"How long do you think you can run Alpha of nothing? Now you are in my trap and there is no way that you can escape from me," the cruel sped of towards my father with a hateful growl.

The cold chilling shiver went down my spine almost immediately as I was lost staring at my him and shivering in the hands of my mother

"What do you want from me Demon," my father growled at him with his face twisted in hate and disgust.

"Nothing much, just tell me where the Luna and that your daughter is and I might spare your Life." His were equaled a bullet slicing it's way towards me.

I knew that we were not safe either and my legs began to shake violently as the rain continued to drip down faster from the sky wetting my long hair.

"Why don't you just have me and leave my family out of this. They have done nothing again you." My father said still keeping that strong face but I could tell for sure that beneath that face was fear.

"Do you think I am a fool, after that prophecy that she is going to come back and rule over the were kingdom as the first Alpha queen? Well too bad for you, if you are that stupid, I am not," he fired at my father.

I wanted to know what prophecy he was talking about and I turned quickly to my mother.

"What prophecy is he talking about." The curiousity burned within me as I swayed my head towards my hiding mother.

"Not here baby, I will tell you all about it when this is all over." Her body radiated with fear.

"I will rather die a brave man than die a coward. I won't spill a single word to you," my father spat angrily on the Lycan's face.

At the sound of this, the Alpha's face twisted with hate, anger, and disgust, and "Slap," a thick slap landed on my father's face making him spit out the blood that had gathered in his mouth.

I drew my face away from the scene and rolled myself into my mother's arm as more tears escaped from my eyes.

"Be strong baby, everything would be over soon," she whispered into my ears.

I pulled myself again and watched the event happening with shivering feet as tears gradually dripped down from my eyes.

"Be brave baby be brave, don't make a sound or they are going to come for us," my mother whispered into my ears and I nodded my head fearfully.

"Well, I am afraid I will have to end your life and search for them cause I know that they are somewhere in this forest, I can sense their fears," he said to my father as a flash of lightening brightened up the sky above revealing the cruel face of the monster.

I watched still shivering as he drew his sword and that was the last time I saw my dad, covered with blood.

The sight of it still sent cold shivers down my spine whenever I remembered it.

I could not stand it, I wanted to die together with my dad.

I could still remember my mom shivering as her tears gradually dripped down on my head but she could not even cry out to mourn her husband.

"No, father nooooo," I yelled at the top of my voice, not able to hold my emotion anymore.

At the sound of my voice, lightning flashed in the sky and the pace of the water became faster.

The Alpha turned to me with his warriors and he shot an evil smile at me.

"Gotcha," he said as a dark burst of laughter escaped from his mouth.

But I didn't care about what he did to me, I wanted to go with my father seeing the way he was brutally murdered.

But that wasn't until he started walking gradually towards me, then I realized what it meant to be put to the sword.

I could feel mum shivering so hard that she could hardly hold me in my hands.

"Isn't that the child of the great prophecy that is destined to bring an end to my reign?" He laughed he such a way that I had to shield my ears like the roar of thunder.

"And you just delivered yourself right into my hands," he said to me with a dark smile hovering on his face.

They began to walk closer to me while my mother clutched me in her hand tears dropping down from her eyes.

"Please leave her alone, she is just a child, take my life instead," my mother pleaded from the depths of her heart.

"She is just a child? A child destined to end my reign? I want every bit of the royal family whipped out, every last single bit, so that no when will eventually question my authority," he fired at my mother.

The Alpha drew closer to us with the sword in his hands.

"Once I say run you do so immediately without any complaint. You are the last hope of the pack and as the priest said, you are our last hope so you must go now because our future lies in you," my mother whispered into my ears.

"But," I tried to object, not wanting to leave her alone with the cruel Lycan but she didn't even allow me to finish my statements.

"No buts, just do as I have told, you I will meet you up, I promise," she said to me but I could tell that she was lying.

But I wasn't going to disobey her now, not in this very crucial situation.

The Alpha drew closer to us and shot his evil smile at us, as lightning struck, forcing me to hide under my mum's arm again.

"Such a raw beauty, too bad that your life has to end this way," he noted with faked sympathy.

He drew his hands closer to my mum, while she shivered harder with fear.

I peeped through her garments and saw the Alpha running his hands through her hair.

"You will make the perfect sex toy," he said to her.

"I will rather die than be your slave," my mum shot a sneer at him and bite his hands with so much force that he screamed out in pain.

"Haaaa," the Alpha cried out.

"Run now Aurora, run," my mother whispered but with rising urgency.

I took to my heels immediately, not looking back, scaling through the thorns of the forest as fresh tears escaped from my eyes.

"You fool," I could hear the Lycan's voice filtering into my hearing.

"Slap," a slap landed on my mother's face.

"She is nothing but a child, you just want to stress her out before her eventual death. How far do you think she can run?" he said like the rumbling of thunder.

I was scared as I scaled through the forest of the woods. Then I heard a word that sent cold shivers down my spine.

"Go after her, I will take care of this fool," he says making me shiver harder with fear.

But even with my heart beating hard against my chest and cold shivers running down my spine, I just have to keep running. Just the slightest pause could mean the end of my life.

"Haaaa," I heard my mom scream and that was her end, that was the last time I heard her voice.

"Rest in peace mother," I thought in my head as fresh tears flowed down from my eyes.

I continued to run until my legs met with a large stone and I fell to the floor.

I tried to get up immediately and continue running but I discovered that my ankles got broken.

"What do I do now mother," I said to myself as fresh tears poured down from my eyes like water from the sky.

"I will have to end somewhere, anywhere," I said to myself.

I drew myself on the floor to a nearby bush that served as the perfect hiding place to nurse my wound and moan about my brutally murdered parents.

"Mum, dad," I cried out from the deepest part of my heart while I placed my head on my aching feet.

"Alpha Charles, the best thing you will do now is to find me and end my life. Or I will come after you with all the strength that I have in me and I will make sure you face ten times the pain that I am experiencing now," I vowed.

As though he could read my thoughts, I heard a branch crack in the forest. They were already here for me.

I could feel my heart beating hard against my chest as the sound drew closer and closer.

And then, my face met with one of the cruel guards of the Alpha smiling evilly at me and I knew that it was my eventual end cause there was no way to escape now.

I continued to stare at him ready for the worst. "Why are you staring at me beast, why don't you end my life," I thundered angrily at him.

"I don't have the heart to. You have gone already, run now little one, and have a life, let's just pretend I never saw you," he said to me.

I could not believe my eyes neither could I believe my ears and I didn't realize when tears started dripping down from my eyes wetting the already wet soil.

"Go now, the other guards would be here any time soon," he said to me.

But before I could move an inch, the other guard was already there.

"Did you find her?" The other guard inquired.

"Yep, I ended her life but she fell off the clip into the river," he lied to the other guard.

"You fool, what have you done," he thundered at him. "Do you know what trouble we are going to get into?" He fired angrily at him.

"Yes, it was my mistake and I will take the punishment for it," he said to him.

And they walked away from me to their cruel master.

And this was how my quest for revenge began. But I never knew that it was going to entangle me into a love story as the Alpha's play toy and his most hated mate.
