CHAPTER 40

As soon as I had heard enough from Wesley and his parents, I left their house and I started walking around the city aimlessly. I didn’t know where I was going or what I was doing. Not until I realized that I was standing outside the hotel that Noah was staying in.

I stood there staring at the building. Still not moving. Like I was in shock.

“Ava.” Someone said, walking up beside me. I turned my head and Jax was there.

“Hello counselor.” I said.

“Noah already messaged me and told me that you know the truth. Are you alright?” He asked.

“Come inside.” He said. But I shook my head. “I’m not leaving you out here alone. Come on.” He said.

So he took me inside the hotel and up to their penthouse suite.
