CHAPTER 2

(Dexon's Point Of View)

"Just tell me, where the hell is Yvonne!?" I vented out as I smashed the wooden table in front of me. My eyes are fuming and I could feel my throat burning up. I couldn't stand this anymore. I have to find Yvonne or else!

"Sir Dexon, wala din pong idea ang mga katrabaho ni Ms. Yvonne kung saan talaga siya pumunta. They said that Ms. Yvonne told them that she's going to Hawaii for a vacation pero base sa pag-iimbistiga namin, nasisiguro ko na walang sinakyan na eroplano o kahit barko si Ms. Yvonne papunta sa Hawaii. I believe that she lied about going to Hawaii so no one could know where she really is," My assistant Lisa uttered with her head down. The anger I feel increased when I heard what she said.

Fvck! Ang lakas talaga ng loob ni Yvonne para taguan ako. How could she left without saying anything knowing that something happened between us? Does she hate having a relationship with me that much?

Sinabunutan ko ang sarili ko at naglabas ng malulutong na mura. I hate this! I fvcking hate the fact that Yvonne has been hiding from me for fvcking 4 months! Does she really like me to suffer this much?

"Calm down, Dexon! Natatakot na ang lahat ng tao sa mansyon niyo. Are you going to be like this forever? 4 months won't kill you!" My friend Alex suddenly came to my office with his brows furrowed.

Alex is an actor like me. We have been close friends since highschool. We're friends, but I sometimes wish that he's dead because he's always annoying me. Hindi ko rin alam kung paano ko naging kaibigan ang gagong ito, eh. He is also the ex lover of my younger sister, Aliah and another close friend of Yvonne.

"Shut up, Alex. If you're here to scold me like my manager, go the fvck out of my house because I'm not in the mood right now to hear your useless words."

He flashed a disgusting frown. "Woah, grabe ka naman, p're. 'Yung mga mata mo nag-aalab! Para kang monster na nangangain ng buhay na tao--"

"I'm not in the mood to play with your words right now. Umalis ka na dito!" I shouted in annoyance as I took the pen in my desk and threw it on his face. Unfortunately, he managed to catch it so it wasn't able to hurt him.

"Bakit ka namamato ng pen!? Muntik mo na ma-damage ang gwapo kong mukha! Hindi talaga kita mapapatawad kapag nangyari 'yon!" he roared and pouted but I just glared at him. For Pete's sake, could I send him to hell now?

I was about to throw something again to him but his next words made me stop.

"I know what you need! I can help you find your dear Yvonne!" he said confidently. It seems like he knows what will make me calm down.

I leaned to my swivel chair as I crossed my hand. I raised my eyebrow and told him to continue whatever he wanted to say.

He smiled with satisfaction. Nakangisi siyang lumapit saakin at umupo sa harapan ng desk. "Now you finally calmed down. Iba ka talaga. Sabay tayong nag-audition kaya alam ko kung paano ka nagsikap para lang maging sikat at propesyonal na aktor. You were always serious about your work but because of Yvonne, you threw it away so easily. People were shocked seeing you desperate for a woman. Madami ang nagulat, cause they thought that Cassandra and you would end up together."

"I don't care about anything if Yvonne is not with me."

He chuckled. "Yeah, I know. Akala ko lang talaga ay hindi ka aamin. You always tell me that you guys are only best friend but look at you, crying all night and missing her. Dati pa lang ay alam ko na may gusto ka kay Yvonne kahit hindi mo pa sabihin. But well, I know that she is a good woman. She's my friend, too. At dahil nag-aalala din ako sa kanya, I will do everything I can to help you find her."

Hindi na ako nagsalita pa. Alex is a jerk, but he's helpful when it comes to things like this. Mas madami siyang connections kaya mas mataas ang tyansa na mahahanap ko agad si Yvonne kung tutulungan niya ako.

"Okay. You help me, and I'll give you my gratitude. Tell me immediately if you have an idea where she is."

"Actually, I have an idea where she possibly is."

What he said got my whole attention. Tumayo ako at tiningnan siya nang deretso. "What?"

He smirked. "Maliban sa'yo at saakin, kanino pa ba siya pwedeng humingi ng tulong?"

"Stop beating around the bush. Tell me,"

"Alam mo naman na tatlo lang ang kaibigan ni Yvonne sa mundong ito. Ikaw, ako, and your pretty sister, Aliah. My ex girlfriend. So she probably came to her for help." he answered and smiled. Palagi siyang napapangiti nang ganyan kapag napupunta ang kapatid kong si Aliah sa usapan.

Anyway, he maybe right about that. Maaring pumunta nga ngayon si Yvonne sa lugar kung nasaan ang kapatid ko. But the thing is, Aliah is mad at me and she never allowed me to know her location. Matagal ko na ring sinusubukang hanapin ang kapatid ko pero wala talaga akong ideya kung nasaan siya. Ayaw niya rin kasi na patuloy ko siyang hanapin kaya tumigil na lang ako. The only thing I know is that she's safe and she left the country a year ago.

Yvonne is pretty close to Aliah so Alex might be right this time.

"Do you know where Aliah is?" I asked, hoping that I can receive a useful reply from him.

He shrugged and looked away. "Nah. Why would I know the location of my ex? Hindi naman ako stalker. At isa pa, galit kami sa isa't isa kaya bakit ko kailangan malaman kung nasaan siya?" He tilted his head and I could see his cheeks becoming red. Even if he don't admit it, it's very obvious that his feelings for my sister is still the same. I know that they truly loved each other and it's a pity that they broke up because of a stupid misunderstanding.

I sighed. This is not the time to think about their relationship. I need to find Yvonne. Kung hindi, mababaliw na talaga ako kakaisip sa kanya.

"Help me find Aliah's location and I will give you anything you want."

"I don't need any--"

"I can help you win my sister back."

He shut his mouth as he smiled. He looked at me with his satisfaction and said, "deal."

I was always busy searching for Yvonne and I neglected my work. Marami rin ang naging disappointed nang nalaman nilang meron na akong ibang babaeng gustong pakasalan. They were expecting me to end up with Cassandra, a friend of mine who's also an actress. Siya ang gusto ng mga tao na makasama ko dahil ilang beses ko na siyang naging ka-love team, but it doesn't matter now because I want to be with Yvonne.

Yvonne also thinks that I'm in love with Cassandra but of course it was a lie. Sinabi ko lang 'yon sa kanya dahil ayokong mapanansin niya na sa kanya ako totoong may gusto. Our friendship since childhood was too precious and I was always afraid that I might ruin it because of my romantic feelings towards her. Meron rin siyang boyfriend kaya hindi na ako nag-abalang sabihin sa kanya ang totoo kong nararamdaman. Pero ngayong may nangyari na saamin at tapos na sila ng gago niyang boyfriend, I am willing to risk everything just to have her heart.

I was really furious when I found out that her asshole boyfriend cheated on her. Sinuntok ko pa nga ang gago na 'yon and I almost killed him. I was really hurt when I saw Yvonne crying for that jerk, so to ease her pain, I brought her to a bar where we could drink and forget all our problems. However, that night, became a night that would change our life.

We were both drunk and she unconciously seduced me. Bilang isang lalaki, alam ko na dapat ay hindi ako pumatol pero wala ako sa tamang pag-iisip kaya hindi ko na-kontrol ang sarili ko. The girl I love is seducing me so how could I resist?

When I woke up, doon ko pa lang na-realize kung ano ang nagawa ko. I was ashamed but I want to use that opportunity to take responsibility as a man. I asked her to marry me but she refused. Gano'n lang ba talaga 'yon? She thinks that what happened between us was a mistake but for me, it was the most precious and important night in my life.

I still couldn't accept that she he went somewhere far just to hide from me. Nagtago siya para hindi ko na siya pilitin na magpakasal sa'kin? It hurts me, but I will never let this chance to slide. I will use this as an opportunity to have her heart. I know that we've been together ever since we were child and she only sees me as her best friend but I will soon make her see me as a man.

I am Dexon Rodriguez, a handsome, rich and wise gentleman so who wouldn't fall for me? I am confident that I could make any girl fall for me, kahit si Yvonne na matalik kong kaibigan.
