"Hig!" I yelled and pointed at the red kite soaring above me. "Have you taken a video?"

He chuckled, still holding his phone up. "It's been rolling since you started," he replied.

I grinned and tightened my hold on the string when the wind picked up. "I wonder how high it can go."

"Any higher and you'll be picked up along with it."

I glared at him. "I'm not that skinny."

"You're as light as a feather." He put his phone down and saved the video. Standing up from sun lounge, he put his phone on the chair and took off his shirt. "Stop playing with that kite and join me in the pool."

"Not yet," I said, lowering my kite a little.

Higan and I found this kite yesterday. It was slightly torn but I managed to fix it with stitches and some patches of abandoned blue cloth that I found in the garage. To others, it probably would look like the ugliest kite on the planet but to me, it was like gold discovered by a poor man.
