Chapter 8 Get out of my office

"I see, something is weird. Someone has a hand in it, and that person is stopping us from investigating. We will have to find another way. Man, I think this case is very serious," Benjamin said.

 

"Yeah, her parents know something about it. Is she truly their real daughter? Because I don’t understand why a parent must do this to her own daughter." Benjamin

"Well, the world is full of selfish people." People only think about themselves and how they will survive; they don’t care whether you are hurt or not. So I am not surprised they are doing this to her. Anyway, when are you going to marry her

"Tomorrow, God willing, man, that girl is straight forward. I almost chocked on the water I was drinking yesterday. Gosh, how can a girl tell me she wants to marry me?"

 

“But this isn’t the first time a girl has told you this. You hear it everyday, so why are you surprised?"

"I hear it everyday, but not from my crush."

“Damn it, you mean she's your crush? When did you fall in love with her?"

"I said crush, not that I have fallen in love with her. But I will treat her like a queen and make her not regret marrying her."

"The first idea is good, but I wouldn’t go with the second one. Vivian is bound to challenge me. She would employ him. She made him betray me because she is telling me I am useless, and I can’t fight against her. She also wants to tell me, she has power over my people."

 

"That shrew, she is really serious. What can we do to bring her down?"

"Well, the game has just begun. She surprised me by attacking me; I would do the same to her. I will take everything from her at a time. She would know how it feels to lose everything. She will regret offending me." He said it icily.

 

"Ok, man, the old woman who will be coming to my apartment today, I need to make everyone take heed or else I will be admitted to the hospital tomorrow."

"Dirty pig, you will go and meet her in the apartment today. She will arrive before you.

"You should at least say something good. Am I really your friend?"

"Naa, I don’t have a friend like you. "Who is your friend?"

When Same went, he picked up the office telephone and called his secretary.

"I need you in my office now!"

"Boss, here I am." He said he was panting.

Benjamin threw an envelope at him. You are fired. I don’t need you in my company again.

"What?" he exclaimed.

"Sir, what did I do?"

"You know what you have done. Don't try to play the victim."

"But sir, I explained everything to you that I didn’t do anything. I wasn’t the one who revealed your schedule to her."

 

"Aww, now you have indirectly told me you did. If not, how did you know it was not him?"

"Enn, that's when the secretary knew he had messed up." Oh God, I am dead.

"What did I do?" He began to search for a solution. He knows he will surely land in jail. But he was praying he wouldn’t do that. because the woman promised to employ him if he was caught.W  even the world is represented by her. “Her,” is used to represent Ghana." He said it shamelessly.

 

"Get out of my office now!" He roared, which startled the secretary.

 

"No, sir, I am not going anywhere," he knelt down and held his legs.

"Take your filthy hands from my legs. I don’t want to touch your filthy body."
