Jennifer's POV

I was so angry, and that made me so productive. I cleaned the whole house, did the laundry, and also made some food, but my anger wasn't depleted, so my solution was to find more work, which led me to the wine cellar that I didn't know existed in the house.

“He has so many collections of wines; I bet he enjoys it with his guest,” I said, and I had flashes of Professor Sander and a random lady chatting and enjoying a bottle of wine.

“Gross!” I cringed as I cleaned the place.

I never knew seducing the man would be so hard, and that frustrated me. I just wanted him to want me just as much as I wanted him, but it seems that wouldn't happen.

“What if he decided to marry that woman!” I rasped, and my face distorted in anger. I decided to arrange the wines to pass time, so I climbed the ladder in the room to reach the top counter. I picked a wine, and I was intrigued by the writings on it.

“That's one of my best collections.” I heard a voice behind me, and I panicked.

Jennifer's POV I looked at Lyon in shock, hoping whatever was going on was a prank, but his eyes were fixated on me, like my entire existence disgusted him. Was that really unsightly?“Lyon–it’s me.” I mumbled slowly; my voice cracked at the end, and I was almost moved to tears, but whatever was going on.“Lyon? Why are you addressing me so informally? Do we know each other? Even if we do, I don't think we will be that close for us to be on a first-name basis—” he rasped, but his words were interrupted by the trail of doctors that rushed into the room. They all started attending to Lyon, leaving me in a state of trance, hoping that whatever I just heard was a brutal joke by Lyon to get under my skin. It was true that I had a terrible burn, but he should recognize me regardless of my burn injury.“I know you doctors are busy, but can you really let a stranger be in my room?” Lyon breathed with an irritated face, and that was when I noticed the difference between the man I knew and the

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Do We Know Each Other, Miss?

Jennifer's POVI had been living in misery ever since the day I woke up in the hospital, and when I thought it would get better, it got worse with time. Everyone I knew treated me like a plague, and I was also forbidden to check on Lyon, who I found out was in the same hospital with me. I tried to get information about his status, but the only thing I could get was that he was still in a coma. The thought that he might be avoiding me crossed my mind once, but I knew that wasn't possible. “Miss Kendrick, it is time for me to disinfect your wound,” the nurse rasped, breaking into my train of thoughts, and that jerked me out of my reverie. “Good morning, let me take a quick shower.” I told her as I went into the restroom, but I fell into a state of despair when I saw my reflection in the mirror. The burn ran down to the left side of my face, covering my forehead with blisters, but it wasn't that hideous as it healed, and I could only hope it got better.“I'm never going to forgive you,

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Their Ill-fated Friendship Ends

Vera's POV I had been living in fear ever since the day I attacked Jennifer with acid, but my anxiety grew day by day. Lyon Sander was too quiet, and I knew with what I did, he should have hunted me down, but we hadn't heard anything. I was a living mess, as I couldn't sleep a wink with the fear that I could get taken away by his men in my sleep, but since he didn't attack, my mother thought it was best to run away since I was the least of their problems.Maybe Jennifer was really hurt, and she hasn't come out of a coma, which explains Lyon's silence. “It's best that I just run away!” I concluded, as I opened my box to flee the country, but the doctor in my room was kicked open by my parents, who didn't look pleased.“Vera Kingston! You unfilial child!” My mother called as she barged into my room, but I didn't glance at her. She just came back from her vacation after she heard about the trouble I caused, so I doubted that she was worried about me.“Have you lost it! What have you do

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Her Reflection

Jennifer's POV My neck felt stiff as I tried to turn on the bed, which I noticed was uncomfortable, and hard, which made me wonder why my comfy bed was that stiff. I pry my eyes open gently, but I noticed it felt sticky. After a long time, I could take in the sight in front of me even though it was blurry.A white ceiling? The place felt unfamiliar, and that was when I realized that I wasn't in my place. But where?I tried to turn, to check around because I could hear a beeping sound in the room, but my neck was still stiff. I started panicking as I attempted to move my arms, wondering what was wrong, but I heard someone open the door to the room.“Let's check her vitals!” I heard, and I felt a rush of excitement. “Is someone there? Please, where is this place?” I asked, and that was when the person in the room got in my view. I saw a petite woman wearing a nurse uniform, and that was when my brain jolted in realization. I was in a hospital, but I couldn't recall how I got there. It

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Car Crash

Lyon's POV I don't feel comfortable letting Jennifer visit her friend alone, but I knew it was right that she took care of the matters between them herself. She has proved to me that she could take care of herself for the last months, so I just needed to trust her.“Are you really going to disobey me and not break up with that woman?” My grandfather asked, his nose flaring up with anger, and I sighed. I was currently back in the living room to discuss with my grandfather, and my grandmother also joined us too.“Do you need me to sign a contract on that before you agree?” I asked, and he gasped heavily. “Did you hear that? I'm sure your parents will be disappointed if they hear what nonsense is coming out of your mouth,” he rasped. My eyes darkened as he mentioned my grandfather, but I calmed down, knowing I couldn't possibly go crazy on my grandfather.“Can you stop roasting the poor kid! He looks in love and also loves the girl,” my grandmother says, and she turned to me.“Are you s

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Acid Attack

Jennifer's POV I never could believe a day would come when Vera and I would be this tangled, but we could never say it, I thought as I pulled her hair with force while hurling abuse and curse words at her. “You bitch! How dare you think of ruining me!” I rasped with uneven breath as Vera also cursed hard at me, trying her best to get her hair out of my grip. “Have you lost it, Jennifer? What the hell are you doing! And why are you guys not doing anything?” She hollered, and the security men got to work as they pulled Vera out of my grip, but the damage was done; I almost made her bald.“This crazy–” she was saying, but trailed off when she saw some of her hair in my hand. “Ahh! You crazy brat!” She roared as she charged towards me, but the security men stopped her. “Are you guys not friends?” the security men asked, and we both snorted. They were able to get me under control after a while of trying to lash out at her, but Vera wasn't satisfied. She didn't believe she deserved whate

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Princess In Distress

Jennifer's POV I stared intensely at the video to be certain my vision wasn't deceiving, but the video didn't change. It was an adulterated video of me having fun with five men, accompanied by disgusting moans, and the sight of it reeled me up. I couldn't believe anyone would go to such lengths to have a video of me like that, but why?“It was just some time ago; you had an embarrassing video online, and now this–are you not tired of being controversial?” The old Sander rasped, and I looked at Lyon for confirmation if it was true that the video was online.I wouldn't be able to walk freely in the city if that were true, and forget about getting a job; I wouldn't be able to keep my neck from people.“No, it's not online.” He explained, and I let out a sigh of relief. “And can you stop overreacting? That video is adulterated; even a fool can see that,” Lyon defended, but the old man wasn't having it.“I don't care; I don't want a woman like that to be part of my family, so–” the old ma

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Here Comes The Culprit

***A Few Months Later***Jennifer's POV “Unfortunately–” I mumbled, and I groaned loudly as I kicked my legs midair. I was currently in my room checking my mail, and every mail I checked started with that. I graduated from college a month ago with Lyon celebrating the day for me in grand style, and I had been trying to secure an internship in a company, which had been futile. Lyon has offered to help, but I would rather not be sheltered by him always, so I declined, which I regretted.I didn't know if someone was trying to sabotage me, but it was difficult getting an appointment, which was discouraging. Maybe I should just ask Lyon for help, I thought, and speak of the devil. My phone blared with a call from him, and my lips broke into a smile.“And someone missed me!” I beamed while picking up the call, and I slumped myself on the bed with a smile on my face while listening to the breathing of the man at the other end of the phone. I couldn't believe I would still be very much in l

  • Housekeeper For My Hot Professor    Her Sneaky Visit To A Hospital

Vera's POV I stormed off from the restaurant in anger, but I had to force a smile as I drove away because Jennifer was watching me from afar. Immediately I got out of her view. I parked my car at the roadside, and I went into a rage.“Ahh!” I hit the steering wheel in frustration, but that didn't ease my anger. I couldn't believe Alexander could pull such a stunt and that in front of Jennifer. He must have lost his mind.“Jennifer definitely enjoyed the show, and that bastard, Alexander, couldn't help but feed her more lies. How dare he think of embarrassing me in front of everyone!” I sneered, as my chest heaved in after. I halted my actions when a notification of my hospital appointment popped on the phone's screen. I took a deep breath, as I collected myself, knowing I couldn't look disgruntled at the hospital.“You can worry about those minions later,” I breathed as I ignited the car as I journeyed to the hospital on the outskirts of the city. I got to the hospital, and I was ask
