Alice stood uncomfortably behind Devon throughout the meeting. She couldn’t avoid the piercing gazes of the Alphas of the other packs. They gazed at Alice in bewilderment, with curiosity etched on their faces. This made Alice really uncomfortable.

“The recent attacks on the Packs were planned and came at an unexpected time!” One of the Alpha, who Alice learned was Alpha victor said.

“We aren’t safe in our homes anymore and they easily got past our men at the western border, ‘’ Another Alpha added .

"The vampires may be involved in the Attacks, we need to show them their place" Alpha Victor said and all the Alphas started giving their opinions causing the entire conference room to be really noisy.

“Stop!” Devon said in a cold, calm but warning voice and the conference room became silent, a pin could be heard dropping. The Alphas couldn’t help but bend their head in submission, when they heard Devon’s authoritative command. No one wanted to get on Alpha Devon’s bad side.

“We apologize Su
