"I'm back!"

My head slowly lifted as the door opened and the human sauntered in as if he had run a marathon. I tilted my head from where I sat on the bed, leg crossed over the other, studying him as he panted heavily with his hands on his knees.

"You seem energetic," I observed. For a broken human. I wanted to add.

"I-I-I had to run the staircase and there were tons, I wanted to be sure you weren't gone. Fuck!" He clamored, straightening his poor posture. "I need to hit the gym,"

"With that body of yours?" I thought out loud with a scoff. "You'll probably be at the hospital at the next minute,"

I sharply stood to my feet, suddenly stalking toward him like a predator to his prey. I saw him flinch and I watched with satisfaction as he took a step back. I smirked.
