Rylan POV

Walking out from the science lab which I had dropped by a minute ago, searching for Kathrina.

After lunch break, coming out from the cafeteria, I had perceived her scent so I was trailing it to find her. She disappeared in the cafeteria a few minutes after walking in with her friend, Lita. Hayden left the cafeteria some minutes before the lunch break was over.

I stopped halfway down the silent hallway on the third floor of the building as I heard someone humming. I took a few steps forward then turned right and there she was, my mate.

I watch her as she applies a lipstick on her lips, staring at her reflection at one of the windows. She dropped the lipstick into a small purse and took out a lip gloss.

"I can help you apply that," I said, startling her as I walked up to her and she flicked a surprised stare at me.

"You?"

"Yes, me."

"Are you a stalker?"

"You can't call me that when I haven't even spoken to you the past few days."
