Chapter 2

I sat on the empty chair. On my left side, a lady was drinking, and on the right side was the man I slapped, my left eyebrow raised. He was still touching his left cheek. I think it pained him so much. I feel so sorry for him, but it was his fault though.

I took a deep sigh and pouted my lips while I was staring at him. He didn't even notice my beauty.

"Now, my conscience is killing me. I should have lowered my anger and didn't react easily."

I shook my head three times. I am bothered for what I've done; however, I can't just say sorry to him that easily. I've never tried apologizing before, but still it was so rude of me.

"Whatever, I don't wanna think about it."

Why don't we just drink this madness?

I raised my right hand as I called for the bartender.

"Mister, One glass of vodka for me please!" I shouted.

He looked at me and showed his skills by mixing some drinks.

"One moment, Miss. I'm still mixing it with my affection," he uttered as he winked at me.

I was confused by his wink. I'd never been out with guys or flirted with them, so I had no idea how to react. I smiled at him as he walked in front of me. I winked back at him as a response.

Suddenly, Mr. Bartender bit his lower lip and I could see it in his eyes. There was unexplainable thing going on with him. As he stared at me, there was some kind of affection or something sexier than that, he's probably attracted to me. Well, that's a cliché thing about me; every man would like me once they laid their eyes on mine.

He grabbed my hand as he laid a kiss on it.

"You're so stunning and I like your outfit, babe," he complimented me.

He made me happy.

"Thank you for liking my outfit. My friend doesn't like this, they said my outfit is gross!" I exclaimed.

He didn't laugh; the man just smiled at me. Now, I feel so comfortable with him.

"Don't listen to them. Here's your vodka, and this is free," he added.

Ah, I feel like I'm in Cloud 9. I got to see a handsome bartender, plus I got a free drink from him. My charm is flowing.

"Thank you so much, Mr. Bartender. I can't believe I got a free drink from you. I will enjoy this until the last drop of it," I told him.

"Enjoy your drink. I can't talk to you right now but I'll try my best to finish my work quickly."

"Excuse me, Sir. Can I have a glass of beer please," I heard a man call for him, so I just let him go.

As I was all alone in such a crowded place, I stared at the vodka.

"My first drink. I'll savor it from the very last drop."

I was holding the glass, ready to drink. However, an insolent hand slapped the back of my palm. I immediately looked at the disgraceful being.

"Oh no, no, no. Girls shouldn't accept free drinks from a suspicious man," he talked nonchalantly.

He snatched my vodka and drank all of it. My temper rose to 100 degrees Celsius; I clenched my fist in anger.

"How….how dare you!" I shouted as he took the last drop of vodka.

Huhu, my vodka. I wanna cry right now.

I tried to control my emotions. I wanted to punch him and slap him, but I stayed in my position. I don't want to slap this man again, even if he was getting on my nerves.

Calm down, Sunshine, even though he doesn't deserve your mercy. You still have a little bit of kindness inside. You shouldn’t be dragged down.

He glanced at me, then at Mr. Bartender.

"You don't feel his vibe? He is plotting a dark scheme while using his charm. Didn't you feel it?" His voice was manly and pleasant to hear, like music in my ears.

I shook my head. No. I should not think about how hot he is. I should be mad for taking my free drink.

I walked bounding towards him while my hands were in a tight grasp.

"You're such an asshole, Sir. How could you take my vodka?!" I shouted at his back.

The rude man stood up. I didn't realize he was taller than me and he smells so nice! A smile escaped from me without asking for my permission. I shook my head again. Shaking my head, made me feel dizzy.

As our eyes met, I slapped my lips. Then I stared coldly at him. This time, I really wanted to punch him everywhere because it would make me feel better.

"Now I see, you look like a jerk in every angle, sir," I commented.

I can't believe my night was ruined because of this man. I wanted to go home and just sleep!

I noticed his eyes. He looked dizzy. He abruptly shook his head and touched his forehead.

"Ugh, I'm dizzy after drinking that vodka," he spoke unexpectedly.

His eyes gazed upon me. My anger faded away. I don't know why this is happening to me. His gazes melted my anger right away.

"Miss, this is why you should never…never accept free drinks," he said slowly. I couldn't even hear him properly because of the music.

"Can you repeat what you said, Mister?"

After I was done talking, his head landed on my shoulder. I immediately stepped back. The next thing I heard was a low thud on the floor in front of me. The man fell to the ground.

"Mister, please wake up. This is not your bedroom, please get a room to sleep!" I shouted at his ears, but it seemed he couldn't hear me. "What should I do?"

I slapped him, but it wasn't effective. I was so worried about him, and I can’t just leave him like this.

The music suddenly stopped and people were starting to run at the back door. I had no idea what was happening.

"This is the police. We have an arrest warrant for this club. Now, please don't run at the back door because we are surrounding this premises! Hahahaha," I heard the voice of a man.

Was he telling the truth? Am I going to jail because of this?
