I made my way to the compound to see if Zach had made any more progress with the rogues since Lucien last visited them. As I entered the compound I could hear feint soudns of Zach, grunting an some thudding.

I stood by the dimly lit room, observing Zach conducting the interrogation of the rogue wolves. He had always been a loyal and dedicated member of our pack, to me, his goofy demeanor contradicting the strength that lay beneath. But there was a hidden darkness within him, a side that only revealed itself in moments like these.

He circled the bound rogues like a predator, his gaze piercing and unyielding. His methods were brutal, a reflection of the darkness that he kept hidden inside, the darkness his wolf reveled in. Zach's blue eyes, usually warm and kind, now held a steely determination as he stared down the rogues.
