"Heath," I said to him, my vouce even. "Good to see you again, I trust that you have enough intel for me to help." Zach sniggered at me through mind link, my fake politeness to Heath made us both cringe.

Heath's smile widened, revealing a glint of teeth that seemed too sharp for comfort. "Of course, Felix," he responded smoothly, "let's go inside and discuss the issue over a drink. I think we might need a few to get through this."

Heath had spent the whole day mapping out where the rogues had been invading his pack. Where they were coming from, how they were infiltrating. He had told us that he had moved his pack into the pack house for their safety, an explanaton for how desolate his land looked.
