Micah's POV

I have been staring up at the ceiling for over an hour, lost in my thoughts. Here I was, thinking I would be out the moment my head lays on the bed but that just don't want to happen. Even after I took a hot relaxing bath.

I sighed and ran my palm across my face and then rolled on my right side. A knock sounded on the door and I furrowed my brows, wondering who it might be.

With bare feet on the wooden floor, I sauntered to it and pulled it ajar to see who it was.

A man dressed in armored scales was at the other side of the door. His eyes met mine and then trailed down to my naked chest. His brown eyes wide at the black vein lines that was spread over my chest.

He took in a shaky breath and quickly bowed his head and I nodded even though he couldn't see me.

"The King Hayden has requested your presences" He said with an uneven voice and I scowled.

"I will be there in a few minutes" I told him and he bowed once more then turned around facing the hallway.
