CHAPTER 11

HINDI mapanatag si Frances. Nasa labas na siya ng bahay ni Jony. She was about to open her car’s driver’s seat window but she stopped from doing it. She let out a deep sigh. Binalingan niya ng tingin ang kabuuan ng bahay nito.

“It is too weird,” she muttered. Inayos niya ang nahawing buhok papunta sa likod ng kaniyang tainga.

Then she opened the window. Umupo kaagad siya. Muli ay naglabas siya ng mabigat na hininga. Umiikot sa kaniyang isipan ang bagay na nangyari kanina lang. She did not want to allow him troubling in her mind but the thing was she couldn’t do it. It already circling in her mind, roughly. Hindi siya makapaniwala niyon. Frances wondered if Jony did it to make her fooled for what he wanted. Might be he was making fun of her feelings. He might be fooling her. Or he was jerking her.
