"Blake" Evelyn muttered as she slowly opened her eyes. She could feel the bandage around her face and she didn't need a mirror to know that the scar was still fresh.
"You are awake." She heard his brother's voice beside her so she turn to see him with a sad smile on his face. She tried smiling back but the bandage couldn't let her so she tilted her head and hoped her brother would understand the gesture.
"Oh, my baby you are awake." She heard her mother's voice before she appeared in front of her. She hated the tears on her mother's face and wish so desperately to wipe them off but she was still too weak to move any limp.
