Shit, what the hell does he want! Leah breathed a heavy sigh. She really did not need this right now.She stopped a few feet away from Theo and nodded. “Hello, Theo. I have an appointment and I need to get going. Was there something you needed?”

Theo smiled charmingly and tried to reach for Lea’s hand, but she pulled away. His eyes narrowed briefly in annoyance before his face cleared and he pasted a fake smile on his lips. “I was just in the neighborhood and decided to stop by.” He took a step closer to her. “I was hoping we could go out for a coffee or lunch together. You know, spend some time getting to know each other.”

Leah smiled back at him, her smile just as fake as his, and shook her head. “No, sorry. As I said, I have an appointment to get to. And if I don’t get going now, I’ll be late. So, if you’ll excuse me?”
