"I'm here Emerson." I climbed on his back, grabbing the plate from him.

"I'm not a tree." He scolded me.

"You might as well be." I laughed. "You're huge."

"You wish you were big like me."

"And be that ungraceful? No, thank you." I shook my head while taking a bite. "Do me a favor and close my door. We need to talk." I want to tell him about Everett.

"No, you don't." Percy's voice came from the doorway. I was still pissed at him. I showed it plainly on my face for him to see.

"Yes we do." I argued.

"Not yet." He warned me.

"Oh my God. Fine. Both of you come in. I have something to tell you both. Emerson, you can tell Tally later."

Percy's eyes flashed and it ticked me off. He was checking if it was okay for him to come in. I decided to use what I learned from my fight with Al today. I used the small shadow stretching it like Shade taught me and then wrapped it around Percy's waist like Al had done. I pulled him in and used a shadow to close the door. Percy and Emerson both star
