She keeps hiding, following, and running just to see the relationship status between the reporter girl and her ex-husband. Ava Nicole tries to find her answers to her many questions five years ago.
Before she decided to come to New York and show her identity to her past family, she thought of hiding her feelings, hardening them, and enduring them to torture her past lover, seeing her better healing. But this time, none of them are managed because her jealousy dominates. Gerald and Stacey go to a place where her tracker points. It's an empty, broken building full of dust covered with a black net as a fence. Neighborhood buildings are far away from it. It seems that the vast whole area is occupied with grassland and a small destroyed construction. They don't have bodyguards to safeguard them, but rather they go alone, which makes Ava Nicole think wicked ideas of what they both do. "As you can see, Ms. Stacey, this area is dirty and abandoned, but I have a big plan for this. A plan I made up five years ago," he states, showing his asset as the woman in front of him is writing notes while listening. Ava Nicole thinks one thing: her ex-husband may be planning to build a new home for her coming new wife after they settle for marriage. It may be possible. "I like this kind of trash because someone likes it. Now that I have enough money to fulfill her wish, maybe I should start cleaning this." His smile is genuine and seemingly portrays an imagination of happy moments. "Oh, what romantic words you have said, Mr. Hallway. I'm sure she'll be happy if she sees this after you rebuild this in a new, beautiful, and elegant home for the both of you. I felt honored to know your plans in the future, sir." The man opens her arms, enabling her to hug him. Stacey is in full of gayness in this moment, with the ex-wife mumbling outside after seeing in her own eyes the confirmation of her guess. It hurts her inside, but her misunderstanding brings her to plan evil deeds to torture the man. As she attempts to leave far from the area, the dog barks very loudly, causing her to feel fear. She is not friendly to animals, as she has the trauma on it. She was bitten by a wild cat months ago; that is why she hates animals. "What's that?" Stacey turns her head to the outside as she hears a loud noise of a dog barking. "Someone is there, sir," she adds. "No. It can't be. You're the only one I trusted to see this; nevertheless, my surprise for her would be made for nothing," the man worries as his face expresses terrible disappointment. They run towards the noise of barking. Suddenly, the noise is fading. It is something that happens to the animal, so they continue searching for it. Not until a loud shout is being heard by them. "Heeeelp?" Ava doesn't bother herself to scream, enabling her to release the biting of the dog in her shirt. "Ava," Gerald calls, as he sounds worried about her. The dog becomes more aggressive when Ava cries more for help. Her scream does not loosen up its bite. "Jambo, release her. Your kind right? She's your boss, remember?" Gerald commanded his pet calmly. Jambo is a bulldog who came from England, where Gerald and Nicole bought it during their eight months of marriage. It's their favorite pet among their nurtured dogs in their house. When they got divorced, Jambo declined to stay at their house but rather escaped, going to the vacant lot where Gerald planned to build their new home. Since that day, Gerald decided to make him a guard in his new habitat, living alone. Every day, he visits his dog to feed, clean, and talk to him. "Jambo? He's Jambo?" Ava clears as her eyes are tearing heavily. The man nods once, making the woman touch her chest, blaming herself for hating an animal. She loves Jambo so much and misses him for five years of leaving. No wonder; the dog doesn't want her to be hurt but just wants to stop her from leaving him again. "Oh my Jambo, baby. You're big now. It's been a long time we see each other again. Thank you for not biting me. You just prove me that you love me even though I hated you a while ago. I'm sorry for not recognizing you, my baby," she states, hugging the pet so tight and showing her full of love. "I think he recognizes you, Ava. Dogs are smart; you can't disguise them," Gerald says. Stacey is starting to doubt for the both of them. She analyzes their relationship from the pet to their bond until she claims one thing: Ava Nicole might be Nicole Roque, Mr. Hillson's ex-wife. After missing each other, Ava thinks of her new identity and the relationship between them. What if Stacey knows her past life now? What if she misunderstands her and breaks up with Gerald? She has to say anything to clear her name. "Stacey, I gave Jambo to Gerald as a gift for his success five years ago. I just sent it through my dad since I'm busy schooling. So, don't think malicious thing between us," she clearly says. "Oh! Y—yes, I'm not. Never mind about me. I understand," she replies without thinking what Ava means by her sentence. "Nice to hear that. I should have to go. I will leave you both now," Ava states. Right after, she kisses her pet, saying goodbye. "Ava, it's not what you think," Gerald shouts, but his ex-wife walks faster towards the location of her car. "What's going on in her? Did she think we're a couple?" Stacey asks, staring at the man whose face is deformed. "Maybe. I should have to clear this up with her," he replies with a weak voice. Ava Nicole misunderstands everything, not just now but since five years ago. She thinks the reporter girl, Stacey, stole her husband from her when she was sick. She thought the two were loving each other behind her, but the truth is they're just close relatives. Gerald's mom and Stacey's mom are siblings. The only difference is that Stacey is just an adoptive daughter of her mother, but still they think of her as a blood relative. Their closeness is so strong that many people always misunderstand them. Including Ava Nicole and Annie, whose thinking is contrary to the truth. "So what are you doing now? Follow her!" commanded by Stacey, who is always supporting her cousin.Gerald pulls Ava's arms, placing her on his back while facing the man—his mortal enemy in his beloved's heart. Ronnie's eyes stare cruelly at him, as he is irritated that his wife is cornered by the man in front of him."What do you mean by this? Do you want me to call the guards for you?" Ronnie says, controlling his anger seeing people around them, watching their scene."Oh! Haha. Am I a criminal for you, Ronnie? If one of us is a criminal, I'm sure it's not me," Gerald responds with high confidence, stating the fact that he has already known Ronnie's schemes against Ava Nicole.Ava Nicole struggles to take away Gerald's hands from her, wanting to release her, for she only wants to step beside her husband. She's hard to wipe away every finger's dip into her skin, but when she fully forces her energy, she succeeds in stepping back from him."Ava!" Gerald states."What the hell are you doing to me? Aren't you just staying away from my life?" Ava scolds him."Ava... Ava... I'm not here
Her eyes widen after reading the document given to him by Doctor Lyndon."Is this really true?" she asks herself while Lyndon is standing beside her.The doctor glances at the paper the woman is holding and says, "Can I change that data? I surely have no reason to do that!" He rolls his eyes, indicating his disappointment to her, but deep down, he's just seeking attention. He wants her to trust him even though he did something bad to her.Earlier, when he read the name Gerald Hallway as Dylan's blood donor, he was startled. He checked all the information and history, going through each letter of the name one by one. But the same name keeps coming up. It's still Gerald Hallway."Who is he for me to help?" He said to himself.***Ava smiles as she greets her child. She is planning to tell Ronnie about the relationship of her husband with Dylan. Actually, she has long wanted to try to tell the man, but she just doesn't have the courage to say it to him. Now, she holds two papers, and sh
Gerald is surprised when he enters his office and finds Annie sitting on the sofa with her legs spread apart while drinking milk tea. Early in the morning, a blessing is the first thing that greets his eyes. The CEO covers his face with the white folder he is carrying and heading straight to his seat. "Ahem," he clears his throat and continues, "Annie, why are you here?" "Why? Don't you want to see me now?" "I'm asking politely." Annie stands up and approaches him, revealing her cleavage as if she is starting to seduce her boss again. Instead of falling into her trap, the man ignores her and pretends to be busy checking documents on his table. Annie's horns grow. She doesn't like his numbness before her; despite everything she does to win her boss's love, he still doesn't notice her. She thinks Gerald will finally be hers when his ex-wife peacefully marries someone else yesterday, but she made a big mistake. Annie stomps her feet and says, "You're so annoying. You don't e
When Ronnie arrived in the room, drunk, the curtains, floor, and bed were already dancing in his vision. He thought Ava Nicole, his wife, was still there, sleeping in bed after seeing the blanket folded in the shape of a person lying on its side."Bah!" he exclaimed in surprise, but when he touched it, it was empty. He threw the thick blanket on the floor and punched the soft mattress hardly. It seemed that his anger had become worse, and he couldn't stand to just keep quiet."Ava? Honey? Where are you?" he called out the name of his wife, searching every corner of the room.He also took a lust pill just like the one he mixed with the water that Ava Nicole drank. He intentionally made sure that both of them drank it so that the heat of their bodies would stand up and they would be excited for their honeymoon. But his wife is missing. His vision darkened when he realized he had been abandoned on the night he had been waiting for the most. He threw away the things he had hurriedly prepa
Ava Nicole is nervous to look back, fearing that her husband might have caught them. She just leaned on Gerald's shoulder while feeling an overwhelming heat in her body and dizziness."Gerald, someone holds my hand," she says.Gerald turns around and sees that it is a guard who is stopping Ava. The guard just smiles at him and says, "Hurry up before anyone sees."When the guard let go of Ava's hand, Gerald immediately carried her, and they rushed out of the house. A white car immediately stopped in front of them. They get in there and leave.Good thing Albie's brother caught them escaping from Ronnie's house. If not, they might have already been brought back inside and completely imprisoned. The one who picked them up was Albie, Gerald's right-hand man, who was called by his brother because he saw Gerald's face being brought inside the house, but he was unaware that he was taken by Ronnie's other men. Albie immediately looked for an opportunity to get inside, but the guards were still
Ava Nicole wakes up with the surroundings quiet and dark, and the only light is the lampshade on the table beside her bed. She got dizzy in the middle of their wedding dance; that's why she fell asleep until the sun set. She forgot to have breakfast, and the only thing in her stomach was a glass of wine she drank during the wine toasting.Because of that, she is now hungry. She wants to eat and plans to head to the kitchen in case there's still some food left for her there. She turns on the light, and when she looks at her small table, she sees a plate of food consisting of fried chicken, rice, and a glass of water beside it. They are still glistening in her sight, prompting her to devour them to fill her hungry stomach. She quickly takes it and gets back to sit on the bed. She eats them and drinks the water, satisfying her hunger."Burp!" She is full from the food prepared for her.She looks at the time displays on her phone. It's 6:45 p.m. that, good thing Ronnie hasn't come in yet
