I pace around my bedroom, I’ve unable to get any proper rest since this whole thing happened, and then there’s Cass, I have been keeping an eye on her since Simon supposedly brought her back from the undead plains but I am still not convinced that it is her, the way she acts and speaks are different, subtle but different.
The scouts and Tacamorga have brought in new members and they have already been turned but the numbers are not nearly enough to complete my mission, I intend to open my portal right at the center of the Royal City and begin wreaking havoc there then let my darkness spread across all the land.
I need to feed my core to increase my strength, the more souls I get the stronger my core becomes, the Devourant is also hidden somewhere in the Royal City, I need to find it so I can corrupt it, it will most certainly play a key part in my plans, that Warlock has told me it is in the City but he can not detect it’s exact location for reasons unknown to us both, I don’t know if they have it hidden somewhere or if it’s under some sort of protective spell that keeps us from finding it but either way, it’s annoying and most certainly aggravating because had I already have it in my possession I would have already had the power I need to carry out my plan and take over everything both mystical and non-mystical.
Those bastard Lycans need to pay for what they did to my family, to my parents, I gave my wolf up, the better part of my being to be able to get my revenge on them for murdering my family in cold blood, they who had done nothing and by no means would have brought harm to anyone, just ripped them away from me, their mistake was not verifying that they missed a family member and therefore allowing me to live and I will make them pay, first by killing all the off springs of the former Alpha King, naturally leaving the currant King for last, then it will be his mate then I will put him out of his misery and end his life.
A small part of me whispers ‘then what?’ what do you mean then what? ‘after you’ve accomplished everything you’ve set out to do, what then?’ I don’t know what happens after that but I do not care ‘wouldn’t it be tiring having to spend the rest of your life fighting and looking over your shoulder?’ why the heck would I need to do that? ‘when you do bad things to have your way, you always have to fight to keep it and live wondering when others will want it too and try to get rid of you the same way you got rid of others to get where you are, and then the cycle will continue on, right down to the last.’
What does it matter? Once I have achieved my goal, I care not for what happens after the fact!
I drop onto the chair on my balcony, it seems I am now losing my mind, bickering with myself, what’s left? I am on the verge of insanity!
*knock knock knock* “Enter!” I call out not caring to stand and turn around to find out who it is behind me but I do feel the person approach and I turn when they get close behind me.
“Cass? What brings you all the way to my chambers?”
“Let me help you”
I stand and face her “help me? Help me what Cass?”
“With everything you are trying to achieve, naturally”
I scoff and fold my hands staring at her from head to toe “and how pray tell do you intend to help me Cass, what can you do for me that I can not do for myself hmm?”
“Don’t look at me like that Lord Umi, you know very well that I am not the Cass that you all remember, I have seen the way you observe me”
I leave the rail where I am leaned up and walk over to her, she does not move nor does she flinch at my approach, I lean in close to her and look down at her “then who exactly are you, that it makes you confident to the point that you think you can solve my problems”
“You may consider me to be Cass 2.0 then I suppose, as I am still Cass but something more”
“You see that is what concerns me, what the something more is, I do not like unknown variables you see Cass 2.0 and you should know that very well, if I can not figure out what this more is I will most certainly not be taking part in it as the unknown can be dangerous and even come back to bite me in the ass”
